Hey bro, let me tell you something right now, as much as I've been building out fucking NFL champ, I ain't trying to fucking bring those, trying to get no smoke, you know what I'm saying? From fucking the NFL.
That's what I'm saying, bro. Dude, you have a dude. I'm telling you because you know this ENS stuff. It runs 24/7, man, round the clock. It doesn't matter where the fuck you are, which country, which continent, what hour, bro? I'm telling you like, dude, if you redirect your name to that bro, that's not, that's not even bad though. That's not even wrong like motherfuckers. We gonna we gonna stop domain the fuck out of you, bro. I want Titan. I'm just gonna say it now. I'll take Titan, bro.
Discuss this my man bro. I think Augustus might be the only one of like 2-3 dudes that goes back and listens to recordings. I fucking love this dude bro. Like, literally. Like, talk about the dedication my man. Listen to the recordings. Fucking if he can't make it bro, he stays up to date on everything, bro. Shout out Augustus.
Bro, I'm literally debating if I'm gonna like debating hiring someone, right? Because here's the thing, like the like the what's it called? Like these other services that like are recording everything and like NFT talk and all that other shit. They don't take clipped. What's it called? So I can't clip. I mean, they'll take the regular recording and I can put it up, but what I could do afterwards is like I can bring somebody on to like go through it and then clip like the certain like parts, you
So you can clip certain instances and then put it together where it's like if there's like the money joints you can like clip like ohh this was a great fucking six minute segment. Oh this was a great 7 minute segment. Mine got that time bro. I'd rather be here learning new shit.
Dude, if we could, if we, if you're right because dude, actually 60 to 7080% of this is fluff and then there's like some really good segments which are fire and like that's that's what you want like to stand out you know?
Yes, Sir. The the previous one, yeah, rebranded, bro. I got rid of that raunchy shit. Yeah, I rebranded it because of fucking. It's only like 1020% of My Portfolio, bro. And like, I mean that's cool. Like yeah, that's fine. But dude, there's so much more other opportunity. Like I have crypto loan shit Vegas. I'm a big Vegas bull. Like, I dude, I talk about all all kinds of other concepts, you know, like fuck amarachi school too, but Titan bro, Titan, let's go.
No, I swear. Like I'm like I I've never been. I've never been like this in my life. Boys. I hated fucking school. Like anytime, any chance I had to like not Dick around but like I had downtime. Like I'm not working on the weekends. Nine to five type bullshit. Never in my life was it like this bro. Ever. Ever ever. Like legit never.
No, cap. I I just like, I'm done. I'm done like, I, I but I enjoy doing this. Obviously it's a grind, but like if I could do this, yo, just check this out, you know, I've been looking up for next year. I'm debating becoming a digital nomad, you know, you know what a digital nomad is.
Yep. And they fucking like, as long as you're injecting money into the economy, they'll like, literally grant you a visa. Like, they'll pay you to be there, bro. Like, pay me to be on the beach. Yes, please. I'll take that.
So the ultimately you have to have like proof of income in terms of how much money are you making because they know like let's say you make 5 or 10,000 a month, right, you make 5 to 10,000 a month. They know that that money is going to be injected into the local economy, right? Because what's on digital nomad job, you just need a phone that works worldwide, right? You need an Internet fast Internet connection. So they're saying we're willing to provide that on the telecom side, if you're willing
Like accommodation wage too. They give you like, tax breaks there and you don't pay income tax, OK? And they fucking pay you, bro. They pay you to be there, like for a certain amount of time. Like some people say year, some people two years, some people, some places 5. Portugal is like five years. She was crazy because like, some of their towns are dying off because people are just leaving and it's like they don't have anything anymore. Look it up, bro. It's a brand new concept. I just learned a
Off in fucking LA doing nothing. Like I could be traveling the fucking world, chilling on a beach, fucking waking up. I gotta have you guys in my ear and then anytime of the day, you know what I'm saying? Like, why not? That's the life, bro, that I wanna be living, not this shit.
That's the best part. We don't even know where you at right now, like, and we don't really care either. That's what I'm saying. You could be in fucking Bali right now. You could be in Bali, bro. I don't know.
I'm saying, man, that's the thing, bro. That's the thing. And you don't give me perspective, yo, shout out my trade Bitcoin dot E dude bro. He's looking to trade that name right down there, bro. But I was in another Nigerian space before. Yo, these dudes, they grind them, man. Like, these guys are thirsty, bro. They're hungry for the fucking to like.
Well, the Nigerian crew is like one of my favorite places to snap. Well, not to snipe, it's kinda fucked, but they go through all of the expiring listings and that's why I got send my money dot ETH. But like, they they go through all that shit and then they're like then they're dude, that place is fucking good man, I'm telling you.
Dude, you gotta check out those expiring listings. They don't in the beginning, right? You start seeing the low offers or like under 10 bucks. Yeah, they're, they're not that bad. But once you get up to like the $100 names, dude, they're pretty sweet. There's some dictionary words in there, like rehire. I saw it for like under 100 bucks. I was like, dude.
No, yeah, I was looking at that the other day. You could go up to like 300 bucks and get some more fire names and I didn't know this, but the three letter ones, they're actually, there's tons of expiring. So if you see them in the market, you want to buy them for a point, what, 05, you could get them for under 10 bucks, dude. And they expire and the expired ones, yeah, I didn't know that.
What? What? They'll come up like, I'm telling you, you could throw a fucking, you could put them up on the screen and throw a dart at the screen and no matter which one it hits, I promise you one of them is going to have some organization, some fucking association, some company that is going to have like is going to be represented by a 3 digit. Just fucking Google it and you can find one and make it fucking stick and make it fit, bro. I'm telling you. And here's the other thing too, right? If yo
If you start connecting right. I thought about this the other day. If I start connecting the shit that I buy meaning like industry or industry wide, right. If I'm buying like a 3 digit that's like in the sports arena and I bought like a sports and I have like I own like you know, a sports team for example, right team name and then I get the stadium name right by association. It's like OK, look at the ones that have been in here that have been buying their names up right? What industry are they a
And like, can I find something similar? Maybe they're competitors and maybe go like a little bit of a cheaper route, but kind of keep things within the fan, you know what I mean? Like somewhat, does that make sense? So it's like, oh shit, like if this one sold, why wouldn't their competitor want this shit? And it's like, if their competitor wanted it, like, why wouldn't the ancillary benefit of like, oh, this complements this, ohh. Like this one supplies this one, right? Like, you get what I'm s
Also, bro, I will sell ice to the fucking Eskimos, bro. I'm telling you right now, like the way my, my school, like my school is training, is like the way I was taught was like, yo, two things are going to have two things going to happen. When you get like like at the end of a call right on the like phone sales, it's either they're giving me their credit card or they're going to hang up on the nicest, most polite motherfucker who literally backed them into a corner and literally they used every
Bro, I sort of got like, I'm so I worked on Wall Street for almost 11 years as a market maker. I quit. I then went to work for ready for this. After making like stupid money on Wall Street. I blew that shit like crazy like whatever. Growing up in New York, I was. I balled out like an idiot. Nobody ever taught me about financial responsibility. I then went to take a $25,000 base salary job, cold calling small businesses like 120 cold calls a day. Like, that's not a sexy job for a lot of people, b
Younger folks and like it made me feel younger and it made me feel like, alright, this is cool. Like you got to like love where you work and if I like coming to work maybe that would change things. And I was right where I was making 100 fucking 20 calls a day and I was like if I'm going to be here doing this, might as well make the best of it. And bro, like they taught me like the like the rough out. They gave me the rough outline. I took that shit and I ran with it. So bad bro. I was a sales Re
Job like, ever. Because the skill set that I learned, it was a used car salesman that was writing the scripts initially. And I was like, I feel like I could do better than this. Like it's too, it's too brash, it's too abrupt, right. And I just like you can finesse a conversation and you can push somebody into a yes in the nicest way possible to where they'll never tell you no. You just got to have the balls to be able to do it or ask it. You know what I'm saying? Like a lot of people don't like,
What the fuck is the worst that happens? They say no and hang up. What's the best that happens? You get a $1500 check. You have to spend 40 minutes on the phone with this dude. Come on bro. I was training 24 year old girls that were like very very quiet. Very this into stone cold killers, bro. It was the best. Go read some of the shit if y'all. If y'all really wanted like read. I I'm docs for the most part, but like I'll send you all my links so you can go read it. Go read. Go read the fucking r
I used to love them, bro. Like it was such a it was a family, you know what I mean? And when you go to work and you feel like, ohh, we're, we're, we're, we're competing against this other team. Today, it's the end of the week. There's a competition. People were afraid to call in sick.
Dude, dude, you could be like a podcaster. Row like with your background and shit like, which is like what you. I mean look, you've with your intention. Look at this Twitter spaces host dude. Bro, you could fucking open. This is a this is a pseudo podcast, right? Every fucking time you pick up your phone or your mic or like all of us get on this is a pseudo podcast of course you know, in real time. In real time. So yeah bro, exactly. That's fucking dope bro. Cool.
And I'm gonna put it on Apple Music and Spotify, bro. Like, legit. Like, all you need is literally 50 people to listen to your, like, whether it's a Twitter space or whatever, right? You need 50 people not in one sitting, right? Like, so like if there's 20-30 people in here now and then another 20 come in or listen at another point in time, boom, monetization starts right away.
Like, I don't know what the monetization aspect is yet, because I haven't gotten that far. But bro, I learned that NFT talk, that space, the guy Kabir bro, he's giving me an outlet to make some, to potentially make so much money out of the shit that I love doing. I just got to keep doing what I'm doing right? That's it.
Yo, I got a little update for my boys. Shield. Yeah, shield folio. Yo, you were mentioning 3 letters bro. Like I spent the last as I've been listening to my boy NFL champ right now talking. I've been scrolling of course through the expiring cheapest domains bro. Every one of them is 3 letters. And here's why. Because they all cost fucking $600 to register so. So it makes sense why people are not fucking re upping their three letter random letters bro.
Yeah, you just gotta get them for a month or two and then just hold on. See what? See what? Yeah, I get something going. I get him for two months. If I were to pick him up two to three months and see how it is, if I like it, cool.
Yeah, no bro. So what I use I didn't know how to do is either. So you go to ENS dot tools, that's the way ENS dot tools. And then once you're ENS dot tools, if you're sitting in front of a laptop now Preston, then you click the expired tab, there's like an expired in the middle, like on the top it says search expiring expired for sale. You click expired, alright? And then you it's going to say the premium, there's a premium category and it's going to say 99 fucking million or whatever and then i
Million downwards. You just click the premium button so it shows you the cheapest $1.00 shit and then it just goes $1.00 two dollars five so it shows you them going up. So then I just that's the fucking best way to study the cheapest shit, bro. You snipe a $30 piece, a $10 piece, $20 piece, it might have significance to you when nobody else could find it. Like I what I'm doing right now is I'm using all the three letters that I'm putting a.com at the end, OK? Because some motherfucker didn't che
I don't know. I was gonna say like, yeah, within its vision, I actually did that too, just like three letter, like three letter, what is the category or whatnot. And then just look at like what's available and like you see the amount that is just like available. I picked up like WFU, what is that?
Was that like a week with WSU, Wake Forest University? I looked at like, you know, if there's anything that they do with crypto, they accept donations of crypto. You know what I mean? So yeah, like, you know exactly what you're doing. Witness tools. I mean, should I should look at that more often because especially like the the amount of just like stuff in general, it's not just a specific category. It's fucking crazy. Yeah, I love that.
And as I sent him the name, I'm like, wait a minute, I remember this for some reason. I I I bought this for a reason, bro. I look up NYC accountants.com right? To what range to what you were saying, bro? To my fucking beautiful surprise, it is literally Markham LLP, which is the biggest advertiser in all of New York City who used to be a client of mine when I used to work at a realist at the real estate media com.
I completely forgot, and this goes to the point of organization bro. I'm the least organized person on the fucking planet and I really need to get better at this shit. But like having your your stuff, your notes, you're like, I can't stress it enough because believe me, it causes me enough stress. If you organize your shit the right way, like you're like, you're not going to have like these kind of issues. I almost got rid of what is probably going to be one of my best selling domains by far. No
Dude, wow. What the fuck, dude? Yeah, anything accountant, bro. Anything. Here's my here's my other girls. Anything that's doctor, which you're a fucking baller at because you have every city in the country with dermatologists at the end of it. And then so any doctor, any lawyer, any tax, dude, those are my 3 fucking grail companies, bro. Like, if you're any of those jobs and I can fit that word into a domain, forget it bro. That's it.
You wanna trade or I have filing taxes, but I don't really have anything much other than like anything on that. If you either want to trade or buy or whatever, like I'm I'm open. I'm down to like do something if you want like the tax stuff, I literally have filing taxes.
Dude dude. So this is the craziest thing boys, I'm gonna tell you a little secret. I got this look up taxingcryptocurrency.com. It's the one and only premier crypto guy, period. Like he he does all only crypto. I picked up taxingcryptocurrency.com dude, it's dot ETH and that mother fucker is gonna have to pay me a bag someday, but I'm gonna chill for now.
I had to buy it, dude, I'm like, damn, I don't have the E, But I'm after you. Don't borrow someone. Some of my rent, dude, I'm gonna get paid anyway real soon. So I said, you know what? 66 bucks, dude, because this domain, that's a fucking steal.
Yeah, I'm just, I'm just good. I've just been listening to you guys and I think you, you guys are really helpful. Like I I think I've learned some things already in just these few minutes that I've been here. Yeah.
Good shit, bro. You'll follow everybody in this room right now. I'm telling you right now, every single person in this room is somebody that you want to follow. Turn their notifications on, listen to what they're saying, what they're posting and tweeting about, and you're going to be good, bro. It's trial by fire. You feeling it's like, like I said, it's like drinking from a fire hose.
Thank. Thanks a lot. Thanks a lot. I mean like there are some things that I've not even that I don't really know that I'm I've I've just picked up just these few minutes and I'm really happy to be here although I have some earns that like I told you I wanted to like sell this trade Bitcoin that's why I changed my name to trade Bitcoin. But yeah I think with time I will get to know more and then yeah I'll learn more. Thank you very much.
Exactly, bro. Educate yourself. And so you know the value of what it is that you're holding this way that puts you in the best negotiating position possible. Right. Because right now, if you're still kind of learning the ropes, you don't want to go into a negotiation, just kind of learning the ropes right now, right? You want to go into the negotiation where it's like, I know my shit's worth. Like I know the value. Nobody's going to get over on me, and I think that's going to be super, super imp
Well, I put you, I put you as mid 20s, bro. Fuck. And then you started saying you had a wife and that you worked on Wall Street for 12 years. I was like, what the fuck? I was like, that's not even. I was like, that's like, that's like that. I was like, that's not even possible, bro. What the fuck? Like.
Nah. No wife. No wife no more. I went to. I did the wife, then the divorce. I have no kids though. So like, This is why I'm grinding like you. Are you crazy, bro? Think I had a family? You know, my hat goes off to the people that have families, bro. I'll tell you right now.
No, yeah, actually, yeah, I will be. I will be up front. Yeah. When you said you had a wife, I was like, bro, you spend way too much time on space to have a wife. I did. That did cross my mind. I was like, wait a second. But yeah.
We're just like, oh shit, great name. Ohh, look. What they just got. Awesome. And then all of a sudden it's like, what the fuck are we doing with these things now, right. It's like what's going to come a point where we're all going to be like, I you know, like where we building or are we building or what are we doing? Are we out selling these things? Like what are we doing? You know, things like are you guys taking any steps right now? Yeah. Like are we taking any steps right now to be able to d
Yeah, like who wants it? Like who wants a sub domain? So it's like if you tell me like the runt you when you came in, you're like yo look like I want one bro. For real, for real. Like for me it's not the money.
Yeah, for me it's not the money, right? It's like, let me prove out the use case. So I'll put it like in a dollar $2.00. I don't really give a shit, but if enough people start using it, then I know I got something, you know what I'm saying?
I guess I think it was huge out that was like yeah you know we're we're always talking about domains but like what's the whole deal with like building and I'm trying to like research like how to even build like E steroids dot E dot level. You guys ever heard of that?
Yeah. And it's just like all of these like websites that are made like and I'm just like holy shit like I had no idea that you know these types of things can be built like like there was like even if it's simple right. Like NS solitaire or like you know even just like a I think like Porgy and Bess Yacht Club they're minting website was was utilizing that too and I'm like like how, how do I? Yeah.
Actually actually press I'm gonna stop you right there just real quick could you cause you seem to know a lot of these limo um suffix like websites I myself or someone else like I'm I'm trying to like actually look at nice limo websites bro. So like if you you said E steroid dot ETH.
OK, so here's I got you, I got you. So the whole point, the whole reason why we use dot limo, right, that's essentially what's resolving on Web 2, right, because I can't just type in fucking ENS Titan dot ETH and it just pop up right on a in a Google browser, right? So we were using what we were using before was something called dot link, right? So it would be ENS Titan dot E dot link and that's what would come up and that would be your Web 2 and that's how you'd link it.
There was an issue with somebody actually fucking dropping the ball and letting or supposedly, supposedly allegedly dropping the ball and letting the dot link expire. And GoDaddy sold it to somebody else. So literally every fucking domain that was using the dot link was like, oh shit, now they have to redirect. What are they going to put? I have no idea why they chose that limo, but in a reprieve, a judge granted a temporary.
I don't know the exact like legal term, but ultimately gave it back to of here comes there we go. My guy. He's gonna be able to explain this much better and granted it back to I guess ENS Steven helped me.
So it's actually not been granted back yet. It's there's a current no there's there's a current hold against it. So like it's currently not in use because basically what is being alleged by NS is that GoDaddy sold it prior to the the like the formal expiration of that domain, so it was.
Yeah, it was. It was something like that. So like there was some real like fuckery going on in the background. And yeah, there's a lot of reason to believe that we're gonna be getting Dottie. If dot link there, you go back in the near future. But they have to win the court case first or settle.
And yes, the the reason why they didn't is because the people that bought ETH dot link from GoDaddy spent like 150K on it. So like basically it's it's in holding right now and nobody's been able to use it because technically they're not to figure out a way to remediate with the buyer who paid that amount in to buy it in the first place.
I thought that they actually granted like a temporary one that they like, alright, you've made enough of the case. I got you OK, yeah. So like why they chose that limo, I have no fucking idea. It just doesn't dot limo. What? But yeah, so that's ultimately like the reasoning behind it ranch.
Here's the bottom line of what you need to know is the fact that right there's a governing body over the quote Internet I guess if you want to call it it's called I can and right now Ethiopia the dot ETH is not in use and the debate was well who holds it? Where do we have to go for it to potentially do it. What I heard and this is just per one source AKA Joshi was.
If we can get the dot E right, like TLD like if we can get that then we're good like we don't have to worry about connecting web three web 2. But if it's owned by Ethiopia what do you do? So that's where the the the thing lies and like and Nick actually talks about it in his Bogota address where he's like yeah it doesn't seem like that's going to be super likely like in the near future but if they were to get that that makes life for bro. The whole game changes for us. If they get that, if they
The whole fucking game changes like instantly. Overnight our ship becomes so much more valuable. It's insane because then Google starts indexing everything. So like, you know, E steroids like he was just talking about, that's an indexing site. They got like 2000.8 sites up there. It's like it's nothing compared to like what Google is doing. You know what I'm saying?
Um, we've heard a lot of stories about that in the last couple of months. Unfortunate, but if they were to buy it for the amount that it was properly valued at, Ethiopia could basically solve its entire hunger crisis like five or six times over. Like, it's it would be crazy, the type of value that would give to Ethiopia. But unfortunately, it's not a deal that can likely be made with Ethiopia because the deal is technically made with ICAN, because they're centralized. They're the authority that
Of the story with this and like what can we expect? Why are we not going after it? Like, I want the skinny on the whole shit, like have we made an attempt? Are we going to. Is he afraid that an institution, right, like, what if a fucking? What if like one of these hedge fund goes to Ethiopia is like, yo, we'll give you fucking 2 billion. Give me the dates and it's like, what?
Can you imagine we get that, bro, Ethiopia, like, they don't even have to sign like A1 lump sum deal do they see? Like they could literally sign a deal like cash big like decent lump sum up front and a small piece every month like residual money for the rest of their fucking lives?
One lump sum up front, followed up by a percentage of the dot E sales on lifetime. That would be a badass deal to strike, but I'm glad you're not talking about it. Dude, was it Joshy that walked it through where like, Oh no, damn it, who was it? Maybe it was.
No, because like there is there was another comment that was made during that same conversation. I know you and I are thinking the same one where it was like that we should be trying to contact the US Embassy in Ethiopia and get in touch with the Directorate. I think it was Emily. It it it that sounds like something Emily would say.
Dot ADA. My buddy TJ from the VA community was like, bro, you gonna start looking at fucking that ADA? I'm like, what? Why should I? And he was, I was like, are there any 3 digits left? He's like, I don't know, but they like 600 bucks. I'm like, that actually sounds kind of interesting. They're all minted out, but 600 bucks?
No, but here's the thing though. So Ethan is like here, here's the reason why. I know you talk about diversification or you might be just joking, but do eat this so far ahead of everyone else. Like who can even The Who the fuck can even catch up your Adidas and your other fucking other companies, the dude they're fucking see you in their rearview mirror, bro. Like, I don't know, that's just me, but.
Because honest to God like as I look at all of the networks that are out there, every single you know ETH competitor if you want to call it that. I I personally believe in a multi chain future I believe all of them are going to interoperate. It's going to be a bunch of winners. There is not going to be one quote UN quote like mega like Winner it's just going to be all winners but.
Yeah. And, and that's the other thing too. Like, so taraji's point of like, we're so far ahead. Like, if y'all look at like World Cup coming up right in Qatar, al Garand is like the big one is like the premier, like blockchain sponsor. And Algo Rand is its own chain, right? They're not, they're not, they're not EVM compatible, right. They're not built off the virtual machine. None of that. They're building an EVM side chain, right? Just so that like once they start getting the burn that they des
What's really fascinating is that like a lot of these chains have built out with EVM compatibility out the gate, but algorithm and doesn't have and like to your point like that EVM compatibility because they built out a native standard that is a VM, the Algar and virtual machine.
And I can't recall it off top of my head, but it's there's so much really interesting shit. If you can remove yourself from the competitive landscape of chains and start thinking more about, you know, how can they work together? How can we all win?
Bro, their CEO is like the godfather of fucking cryptography and blockchain. Bro, this guy Silvio, my mastriani, I forgot his name, his last name. But this Italian bro, this guy is one of the most revered, respected, like smartest dudes out here. I remember last year I was, when I was reading up on Alboran, I was like, yo, I I called my boys and I was like, we got to load up on this shit. Like, I'm telling you, like, I'm reading up on this guy. Like, it might not be the same. He might not be con
Yeah, so you want again, go back to the conversation we had after after the Friday night happy Hour the other night where I told you that, like the guy that I work with, my partner at crypto current, he interviewed the head of Decentraland, where one of the head developers at Decentraland way back when, he also interviewed I believe, that guy. And since at consensus last year, I got a chance to chat with the CEO of the AL Grand Foundation Stay, Stacey Abrams. She's phenomenal too. They've got a
We we basically go after a lot of the thought leaders in the space like that. So Stacy would be a great guest on our show. We talked with big time leaders across the space from a number of different projects and that's.
The like best in person example of what we're trying to do. We're trying to make sure that there's an inroad to connect people who are interested in web three with the thought leaders who are shaping it. And then on Wednesdays, we do our big news show where we get kind of like connect people with the news. That's really foundational to Web 3 right now, in the moment, so.
Like just based on like just basic like press releases and research and whatever. Like, and I'm not recommending this by any stretch, but like when I look like it's there's certain glaring things when you're either a part of an ecosystem, right? Like like you guys like know ENS, you know ENS well, like, you know, for the most part, right. Like, or you're of the belief that like this is going to do well, like you're making investments into the domain side, right. So it's like, well, why wouldn't
But like when you look at some of these other opportunities with some of these other coins, like I urge you guys. So when I say like diversify, it doesn't need to be like, oh, I'm still gonna stay in the domain game, right. But I'm gonna go someplace else. But it's like go to different communities. Like I I can't stress that enough so that it's either you're going to realize what you have here right. And you're going to value it like that much more. Are you going to be like damn that other commu
Like, I have a little bit of fucking everything, right? And I can see it. That's to me. And like, I don't just preach this stuff. I feel like this is where like when Steven talks about everything gonna be interoperable, when you hear like the fucking the heads of Polygon fighting and calling, the heads of fucking avalanche names in the press, it's like, what the fuck? Like, what are we do it? Like, are these guys serious right now? Like what are you fighting over? Who's got the the faster millis
If we're just gonna stick in one mindset, one mind frame, and like just one community, you're missing so much. Like you're missing so much just from an education standpoint. Because when you see everything else, you're like, whoa.
Like Aptos, I will tell you right now I am. I like, I'm preparing myself to really fall down the rabbit hole with this Aptos layer one. I've yet to do Dick with it nothing. But like every I when I hear everybody talking about when people that are not even in blockchain are mentioning hey, you have Aptos. I'm like what?
How do you know Aptos? And it's like, OK, that's a sign for me to be like, OK, get your game on. Like, you gotta start getting in some of these spaces. Find like the Aptos spaces, sign up to the newsletters. Like, understand what it is that they're doing back to front. And that's how you when you immerse yourself in an ecosystem the same way that people were here last year, registering domains and getting fucking stupid money off of coin off of AirDrop because you were using it. Keep doing it le
Made like you get an understanding of what the competitive landscape is, and that's so beneficial in so many ways. It makes you so much more marketable on LinkedIn. Whether you have your own business, you're looking for a job, right? The more because I'm cheesy, the more you know.
Because the you can actually look this up. It's the funniest damn stat I've ever seen in my life. Every single time that the Philadelphia Phillies have gone to the World Series and won, we have entered into a very significant financial like.
I swear with the different conventions, you know what I registered way back when when I saw like all, like the teams were like taken. I was like, what about the players? Would the players be open to kind of like a fan engagement thing? Or is it like once the Yankees do it, they're probably gonna get it from the Yankees. I'm like, is this worth it? I bought a couple of like, the big time players are like former players, right? So I bought so for like Derek Jeter, I bought like NY2.
Right. And it was like, or what did I buy? NY hashtag the I bought, yeah, NY02 for like, New York Yankees 02 I bought, I bought. I did the same thing for a rod. I did the same thing for pool holes. And I was like, are these things actually going to play? I don't know. But like, I was like in case something catches. Maybe it's worth it. Who knows?
For the love of God, can you guys please just start subscribing to the idea that you need to have like like a series of questions that you pass every single domain that you want to register through. So you can have like something of an investor's thesis with domains because so much crap gets registered here and like champi.
To Steven. Steven. yo-yo, yo, Steven, just me. I don't hate to interrupt you cause you the fucking man and you like my fucking mentor, but what could you elaborate on that? Like what are good things you look for when like, so we don't. I don't keep pulling up dog shit fucking domains. Like give us some fucking specifics, bro.
Because like, there's some things that he just like and flexors this. Like flexors probably like the champ to like the enth degree. Like he just registered so much shit. And I love flexor. He's my guy, man. Sometimes it's painful just listening to some of these domains, man.
Good Lord. But but the the man formerly known as raunchy like I I 100% understand what you're asking for here. And like to me, I wanted to typically know like do I have multilateral potential or am I looking at something that is 1 paved way so.
Again and and and just for the record, guys like you need to understand champ is way more like connected than most people in this space. So like for all the shit that I give him, he probably has some of the connections to run with this shit.
You guys got like, I have I. The way I think, I feel like is like, I don't care if I fall flat on my face. I don't care if I make a fool of my fucking self. Like I don't care if it gets me as long as I like keep to my morals and I'm not a fucking asshole, right? I'm not stealing or robbing from anybody. I'm not fucking anybody over. I'm not stepping on anybody's neck to get ahead. I'm just work. Like I want to outwork everybody else. It's like you don't know the shit that can fall into your lap.
Like, you have no idea what can fall into your lap? None. And it's the relationships. How did they meet Dylan? Literally, like one of the members of my other community. Like, fucking Laurie, right? I ran the Queens Court with her for a minute, and I think it was, it was her husband who randomly commented on a Dylan post. She called me and she was like, I think we might have Dylan autograph. And I'm like, what?
Yeah, which is which, which is incredible. Um. But to give you another perspective, man formerly known as raunchy, I pulled up verse onto the stage NFT verse. I hope you're having a great Sunday. I wanted to get your perspective on this. So I know that you've registered some absolute grills over time and I wanted to ask your thoughts on what it looks like to like create some filters or like question filters as to like what you are registering, how you can become better at registering domains ove
Yeah, man, I I think that that's a great idea. I mean because I think some people get derailed a little bit, you know, when they're when they're out there registering domains, right about. And I I've always stated to to everybody all the time and I'm pretty clear on this because I repeated multiple times that you you have to have a strategy, right. But what I'm starting to to kind of see is that everybody doesn't have a strategy, right and they may not know.
How to implement a strategy, right. So having questions that provide a certain level of guidance is, is a very great idea because if you can have, if you can guide somebody, walk somebody through and say hey you know what industry are you looking to mentor domain in and then maybe have a drop down or something like that and then they select that that industry how, how wide of a range do you want to capture is this A, is this a single?
You know, is this for a single person or is it for a group of people? Is it for a typical network or is it for a profession? You know, things like that I think are beneficial to help people create what I would call a plan of attack, a strategic way of when they get ready to click that that registration button to pay their money, they feel confident.
That they went through the proper steps and they've understood, they understand the fact that OK, I feel good about what I've selected now yes, it is available. I'm going to go ahead and mention it and now I can keep that in My Portfolio and feel good about it. So yeah, I I agree with with having some type of.
No verse. I like that too. I'm just gonna comment on that to follow up, Steven. I like the the fact that once I click the registration, when it's clicking 60 fucking seconds on bulk register, I should be thinking of myself like, yeah, man. Like this could be a banger or am I just wasting my money and my time, you know? So that's good.
I'd like to add to that too like in regards of the strategy, just so you know piggyback on that, it's kind of like how you see like do it stocks like there's three kind of things that I look for like in regards of investing is like invest in what you use like and in in doing so like you kind of know like what you're getting self investing, what you use, invest in what you love.
Right. And invest in what do you think would make the world a better or like easier, like place like I feel like that's kind of like those 3 components. If you can have answers for those questions, like, and if you know someone were to ask you that like you yourself would already know the value of your domain or whatever you invest in, you know, so yeah.
Yeah let me just add this and and and I said this in a space earlier today and and I kind of just want to be able to share it you know as much as I can anytime I jump on the space. But I I know that a lot of people as they start to enter into the ENS ecosystem some of the conversations are like oh there's nothing else to meant. There's nothing else out there everything's already mentioned you know we're almost at 3,000,000 domains but if you if you truly if you're truly strategic and.
And, and you're out there doing your due diligence and you're researching and you're studying. This is almost like a class, guys. I'm I'm serious. It's almost like a curriculum. When you start to mint these domains, if you're trying to build upon something that's going to have value, right? So it's almost like a curriculum. I think that every day that we're in these spaces, you should be picking up something. You should be writing down notes. You should be understanding, because hopping from spa
You gotta take notes and you gotta when you hear those Nuggets of information, you need to jot them down so that when you are ready to go ahead and start moving forward towards your registration, you have a certain level of confidence because of the information that you gather. But let me share something with you guys so.
So this morning when I got up I I usually do a my routine where I start to kind of just do some research, take a look at my domains, see which ones I need to start extending. Seeing which ones that are coming up that need to be extended and and kind of putting together my plan for a setting aside certain capital that I need to extend these out because you know at one point in time I have to think about Wow Man in.
And in may, man, I registered, you know, 50 domains. So I need to be ready for when those come up back around in May that I'm going to have 50 domains that are registered in one day that are all going to need extensions, right? So the plan is to kind of extend them out throughout the year so I don't have to worry about all of them coming up at the same time. So that's just kind of a little tip. But as I was doing my research this morning, I started thinking about, OK, well, where is the world go
How reaction are we moving in and if you just kind of take a step back and you look out, you'll see that the world is moving in a eco friendly type of way, right? Energy saving, energy efficient, these types of terms that are out there that are being utilized and what I saw was I saw something where.
OK. And when I saw that I was like, OK, this could transition into something huge based on the way that society and the world is moving to be a little bit more eco friendly, right? Environmentally friendly. Same thing from going from Ethereum, going from proof of work to proof of stake, right? So you know what I did I I registered, I tried to register eco Preneur and it was already registered, right. I said wow.
I said let me register eco preneurs. So I register eco preneurs and that was available. Of course. That's a $5 registration renewal, right? Gas was low. Perfect, right. And then along with that, I said.
And not entrepreneurship but Eco Preneurship, right. So I registered eco Preneurship also. So now I have, I don't have eco preneur, but I do have the plural version and I also have a term that also you know is is familiar with that and related to that as eco preneurship. So I wanted to share that with you guys about doing your research, doing your due diligence, going out there and really taking a look and reading and digging down a little bit.
Shout out verse. That was dope, bro. Sorry, I was just running around in the background, but hell yeah, like look like, look at what's around you. It's like, I can't stress that enough. What is going on? We're if we're talking about, hey, blockchain is going to change the world. What world, yo?
What do you, what are the things that you think about, right, like what are the questions that you ask, because we've talked about a couple different areas right now. I'm kind of curious like what do you think about, do you think about the marketability of it, like how you might even pitch it in some in some ways or like what's your thought process?
You know it. You have more passion in regards of like, you know, holding value or you know, if someone were to ask you like, you know why, why did, why did you register that? It's like, because like I can totally see this in the future. And ABC rather than just like, you know, sometimes especially in the space, a lot of people are like, they chase the FOMO and it's like, oh, OK like, so why did you register that particular thing? It's like, ah, because like, you know, like.
I don't know a lot of people. And then it's just like, you know, you don't really have that much passion towards it. But yeah, I guess it's like, you know, before registering it just like kind of see like how it applies like now.
No, you're good. You're you're good. Again, like it. This is one of the valuable things here in these spaces guys like you can get so many different perspectives and all of them actually add merit at certain levels, right? You just have to think about it, you know, a little bit critically. The other thing that I would say, raunchy to the earlier question is that one of the things I've thought a lot about recently is translating some of the, like some of the thought processes when I was vetting,
And this is something that's kind of like off the beaten path. So like run with me for a second here in PFP is one of the things that you're taught early, early on, if you're really deep into this shit, is if you're going to mint something and you're not and you, you really want to believe in the thing for the long term, you, you know you're you've got high conviction on a play.
I need to know like, am I actually that confident in what I'm registering that down the line if I really ride the wave, is it going to have value for the multitude of groups that I've already projected it for? Am I OK with it sitting there? Am I OK with taking on the cost to carry, right cost to carry, being like the cost it takes to re up year over year if you're not registering it from multiple years at a time? Those are other questions that I've started like work into my qualification.
That's really helpful, Steven. Thank you so much for that. Absolutely. Like thinking like, hey, am I gonna be passionate about this even six months or one year outside of just today? Absolutely, bro. Thanks for that.
Also, talking about the deep dive, I really, I like that conversation. You know, I try to do that when I'm looking at the next domain that I'm going to pick up. And you know, something really interesting has happened over the last few weeks in the DNS space. For me, it's.
Domains. And, you know, I got really excited and I thought the rest were going to be, you know, kind of the same, but as I listened to everybody in the spaces and in particular, a Fletcher kind of grounded me and, you know, I'm listening to him speak and, you know.
I really want to be in this for the long run and I want to build these relationships with the Community. So what am I, what am I doing and how am I making an impact? You know, I really had to look at that and how I was doing it, so I re.
This uh and how I can build and and and you know give back. So that's kind of where I'm at but I love the conversations of tonight's space I love being in NFL and and champ spaces you know he's always got a space going on so it's.
Always very interesting to see what he has and who he's got in his space. I was really surprised to see. I think it's army dot earth man. That's that's a really cool name. You know I'm a I'm a six year Army veteran myself and when I saw that name it really was like man that's a really cool name I love. I got to go back and listen to the to the Twitter space that he was a part of but.
You're right. You know, you have to kind of take notes and write this stuff down because how are you gonna use that information? You don't want it to just go in one ear and out the other. So I'm really kind of regrouping and re strategizing how I move forward in this everness ecosystem.
That's totally right. That that's essential. That's essential. Like sometimes you gotta step back, look at everything, reevaluate and you know, that's like you said, that's how everyone gets better. And then that, that's how you have more knowledge to share by your data, you know what you hear, what you view, all of that.
Yeah, I feel real strong about this final destination where I've landed and I and someone said it before, I'm not sure if it was Meta 888 down there, but I feel like this is sort of my final destination in the web three when it comes to.
Relationships and met a lot of great people and connected with some stories of the founders and the projects. But I look back and I think to myself, you know, all of the time that I've invested into into this has definitely been a learning experience and I've had a couple of rugs and things that didn't go my way. But now I've landed in a place where I feel like I think Steven even said so much conviction in this ENS and the ENS domains and.
Listening to everybody talk, it's like, man, OK, I'm ready to take this to the next level and apply everything that I've learned in the last year. So I'm excited for it. I know everyone here is as well and I look forward to like man, all the spaces and all the knowledge that we're going to be sharing amongst each other.
We grow together. That's the way it works, guys and I I want to throw something back real quick because it's it's super, super crucial that you hear it. The more that you take notes in the space, the better you're going to get, you know, at the game itself, right? So this is me throwing it back to one of the guys that straight away and like I'm not just blowing smoke when I say it, like it's one of the guys that I respect most in this space.
More in that ballpark that when you have ideas of stuff that you wanna go after, you have ideas of things that you think you wanna invest in. Best thing you can do is be writing them down on paper, putting them into the bottom drawer of your desk and reevaluating them month to month.
And lo and behold, now we're sitting here, you know, weeks and months later, you know as a a host of the, you know, Shark Tank, you know, and, and a lot of the inspiration there, like, I'm not going to say like it's entirely of that space, but like.
Kind of where we're at right now you know in this whole ENS journey and NFT journey and crypto journey, you know and and sharing it with people who are here with you so they can they can learn too. I mean man I mean we're going to have some ups and downs during this journey, man. I mean we we see them already you know, but it it's super early you know when we haven't even seen a bull run. I say this all the time. We haven't even seen a real bull run.
Big money people come into this space ship. It it just hasn't happened yet, right? It tells you how early we are we we see money switch hands. We're seeing money switch hands in here right now. But there's going to come a point when there's going to be so many hands in here. It's going to push the level of demand. It's going to push the demand that it's going to push the scarcity of you know so much that that we're all going to wake up one morning and be like, wow, I I got a.
100 offers, you know, on one domain. I mean it's going to get to that point. If you have those types of domains, you're going to wake up and you're going to see multiple offers on your domains, not a onesie Tuesday here and there, you'll see multiple ones. And that's when you know the space is really growing, that's when you know the space has multiple buyers in here who are looking to acquire digital assets.
Right. It's not at that point right now, OK? The Bull run will dictate that, right? The Bull run will ignite that and that will happen. We're seeing it kind of gradually right now when you see certain projects coming here and scoop up some of the four digits, some of the three digits and everything like that. But one thing I don't think people realize is that when those projects come in here and they scoop up those digits and they fractionalize them, they're off the market guys.
So you know what that does? That brings scarcity, OK. If you have 1000 or 999, three digits and then you have a company come in here and scoop up 100 of them, that's 100 of them off the market not being sold anymore. They're using that as collateral and liquid in order to continue to bring value. OK. So there's a scarcity of factor that falls in that. Now guess what? Now you only got 800 out there, OK, and let's say another company.
You get what I'm saying. You kind of understand how that works. And it's it's easy for them to come up and scoop up the 10K club too. That could be gone and wiped out and that's off the market too. So you know what happens, it moves to the the next liquid numbers and that's the five digits. So the capital moves into that.
So now the five digit, the demand for 5 digits is 100,000 of them. It'll take a little bit longer, but guess what? The value is transitioning. The capital is transitioning, so it goes into the five digits. So when you never thought when you said, man, 5 digits of never reach 1E.
And now if that moves into the five digits, 5 digits may one day not financial advice could reach 5 to 10 E, because there's only 100,000 of them. And there's more buyers coming to the market, more people come into the market, more money is flowing through here. People are going to scoop them up.
So those are the things that you got to keep in mind when you're out here. That's why I talk about longevity and affordability. Affordability is going to be huge in this market if you're trying to stick around. So you got to make the right choices. That's that's kind of my advice to everybody.
I'm doing good. I'm doing good. I just so happen to be here with my co-host who I think gave you that initial advice, right, in terms of what you wanted to go after. So do you wanna maybe fill Steven? Well, actually let me fill Steven in this way. You maybe you don't slip on something. But Steven, you remember that day, that night came in to your space and you made that recommendation for her.
Ohh for fucks sake, read your DM's every once in a while you're fucking Oh my God yes. So now that's out there. But yeah, she's trying to make a bid on it and ultimately like she kind of wanted our advice. Like how did we go about it? Like what should she do? Yada yada. So I know that you initially gave her the advice, so like I figured you get first crack if you want it.
No, that's why I reached out to champ because I have no idea how to go on with it. But I really want like I did a he registered well, he helped me register and he bought the women with curves dot E for me and I wanted to continue that and purchase the, you know the WC dot E and give that to my olders because we are launching on the 28th. So I wanted currently working on the my like my brother's helping me out for the.
It's a it's on vision for 2 1/2 feet. It's offered up so she could literally make an offer. Just connect her wallet and make the offer. But I said do not do it from the women with curves wallet. Like do it with a burner. So like he doesn't look at him be like, oh, she really wants this or she really needs this is kind of what I recommended.
Yeah, every, every single person out there, right. Like we we all have to be respectful of each others, you know, financial positions and everything. But I will tell you for that specific domain, like I've been valuing domains now for more than a minute.
Properties out there, they could probably go sell that to, but that's not to say that you shouldn't continue to pursue it. I think the best course of action for you right now is, yeah, stage up a burner wallet with what you want to offer.
Go find a way to get in touch with them, because I guarantee you if you track back the transactions, this is exactly verbatim how I do it. If that wallet does not have an entity linked to it on Openc looks rare X2Y2 or vision, what I do is I will.
Go into their transaction history and I'll track back any wallet to wallet interactions so that I can figure out what other wallets they may use as a non burner wallet or a vault that may have a better contact link within that because that's how you ultimately get in touch with them.
OK I I just want to give I just want to give a little bit of advice here if Steven and Champ if you guys don't mind you know for for women with curves so so this is this is how I would approach this if I were you right?
I would. I just looked up your domain, the WC, but what I did was I put the hyphens, I put W-W-C dot E right now that's available, right? And that's only, that's only going to cost you $5 to renew every single year. So if you go grab that right now, that is your backup if you can't negotiate a fair price with.
WWC dot E clean, right? So at least you have W-W-C dot E and then you could also still do really great sub domains off of that too, which still represents your brand. So that's my advice to you as a backup because we know that hey, at the end of the day it's a higher renewal cost associated with WC dot E.
It's clean like that, but we know that there is an alternative for you. If you wanted to go with W-W-C dot E in order to still have your brain and keep the brand still have it WC. It's just an alternative. That's what a lot of people are going to do out here in this space. At some point in time when they can't negotiate a a fair price with the clean version, they're going to go with a clean alternative.
Version of the same thing. So that's my that's what I would approach it. So like, I would still pursue the WC, but if I can't get the price point, I already know I have the one with the hyphens in it, if that makes sense.
Hey Nat, I have a question for you. So women with curves dot ETH, right? Is there any reason why you don't want to use that you just rather shorten it up? I know like obviously the advice that Steven gave you and you know like that obviously made sense. But if it's not in the cards right, is there any reason why you wouldn't use, I guess women with curves dot ETH is the default and kind of what verse just gave you is like if you really want to shorten default.
Yeah, because uh, yeah, like I joined your space and I thought that was a really cool idea. Instead of like, you know, we can have all them, you know, we can have names or numbers in front of the WC and then have that as a sub domain.
No, no, no, no. And I figured that's what it was. But like, this is where like, the lines get crossed sometimes. Like what Steven was recommending was like a best case scenario. Like this is kind of what you want to make your life easier. It could have been an investment for you. Also like that WWE is going to appreciate probably like crazy. So I wouldn't rule it out right. That would just make it easier if you had WC dot E, But you have women with curve, you have a domain, whether it's 3 digit
As many as you want and if you want I will happily put you in touch with a gentleman. His name is Sam. He runs ESF dot tools and I would go listen to the interview the the walkthrough that he gave us. I'll send you over the link from earlier last week that we did. Within 90 minutes we spent and he gave us a soup to nuts run down of everything you're able to do, how you're able to issue them and that was the one thing he said guys, please send the NFT projects my way, please do so.
Ohh, gosh, you know, this was my second question. I wanted to come up and ask you, uh, that if there is like a platform where we can, you know, generate who can generate the contract for us and also have like give us a link where our users can go ahead and mint. So that would be really great. That would be awesome if you can, you know, help us connect. Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, 100%. I will 100% connect you with Sam. He's such a good dude. Like he's such like, I mean awesome. He super patient. And before you do anything, just make sure that you talk to him because there are some nuances, right? In terms of do I want it locked or do I want it unlocked? Like how does it work? Where does my collection going to show up under? Is it going to show up under women with curves or is it going to show up under ESF? And there's certain different rules and I think
Yo, NFL, I'm just gonna hop in. You mentioned a crazy word and I told you any word I hear, I go right after you. You said yes. You said ESF dot tools, bro. I know all 16 people in the chat are looking up ESF tools right now. You got a quick, like few lines on it. Of course there's 90 minutes, but you got a few liners on it. It's safe to connect your wallet and shit. Go ahead, bro.
Yeah, ESF dot tools. Absolutely it it definitely is. But before you start locking your stuff or you start rapping, make sure you understand the nuance behind everything, right? Don't rapid domain if you don't know shit about wrapping a domain right? Don't lock a domain if you don't know what that means, because if you lock it in there, it's there forever.
Yeah, for real. For real. So be very careful. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I highly recommend go back and listen to it. I get it. It's 90 minutes and I'll try and get better at maybe clipping them. Yeah, I'd rather be in just these rooms teaching y'all. So I'll see if I can find somebody to do that. Maybe we could hire somebody, but that would be like, that would be your best bet. Go listen to those 90 minutes, because they're very well spent in that.
Uh, just wanted to quickly touch and piggyback with women with curves from a visual standpoint. I don't know if it's any value to you, but WW and then curves spelled out dot ETH is available. And what I think about that is the WW. When I like, let's say I use my finger and I do like this WAVY, you know, like I'm riding with a pen. The WW, right. It's kind of like a visual in my eyes for the curves, but then the curves are spelled out. So you could do something with that too. I don't know.
You could also spell women. Women. You could spell women with curves. Women wid like wig, WID with curves. No. But that's kind of different. Never mind. Never mind. OK, never mind. OK, I never said that. My bad.
Temp, you're you're a fool, man. Yeah, so I'm about to head out, man. I'm gonna jump on kills and ish Millies for a few minutes and then I'm going to call it a night. So I'm going to go in there and support them a little bit, guys. So I wanted to just let you guys know my head out, man. I appreciate you guys bringing me up, man, as always.
I think I will uh keep keep an eye on it and look into like if we are uh gonna be launching because we are launching on the 28th we don't have that much time. So I feel like I will still keep an eye. But if we are going to add our thought smart contract then I'll go ahead and add this women with the one I have and I will need your help in terms of you know the the website you just mentioned the dot tools because I'm no idea how to.
