How Royalties Reward in NFTs and Affects Traditional Art
November 30th, 2022
Hey everybody, welcome back. I think we had technical issues with Twitter and the space got robbed.
darkskinalienLet's just wait for people to get back in here.
darkskinalienThree times you're going undergoing a lot of developments and upgrades and downgrades.
darkskinalienSo there servers are be shaky.
darkskinalienHi guys, welcome back. Please let's show this space.
mazi_obiaguUm.
mazi_obiaguYeah. Thank you.
mazi_obiaguYeah. Let's share the space, guys.
darkskinalienShare the space so that everybody knows that it's backup.
darkskinalienThis is The Who and ft.
darkskinalienTwitter space the biggest African collectable.
darkskinalienAnd this side of the globe and we're speaking about how royalties reward in NFT and how it affects traditional arts while we're waiting to have our hosts come up.
darkskinalienWe're still waiting for a couple of our speakers to.
darkskinalienJoin in, please share the space guys so that everybody knows that it's back up.
darkskinalienGood are big. Please can everybody just retweet the the the space link please? The other space link got robbed and you can still post it and then tell people that the other space got robbed so they can join the new space link. Thank you very much.
sethdannyyakThank you very, very much. Thank you very, very much.
sethdannyyakLike that.
sethdannyyakAlright, we're still got our speakers with us.
sethdannyyakThis is once again the uhuru's NFT space.
sethdannyyakOkay, we're going to keep it very um, I mean very detailed and and brief. Yes it's possible it's possible to keep something detailed and brief. So we're going to hit the key points so that to avoid time wasting you understand. So we're very sorry for the rigging of space because Cheetah has been going through a whole lot of I won't I won't say it because this call is on record. I mean this space is on record but since that has been having.
sethdannyyakChunk lots of issues because many people's accounts have been even been suspended permanently and I don't know what's going on with Twitter. I mean even me sharing about space links. I mean I used to get scared because.
sethdannyyakI don't want my Twitter account to get compromised. So yeah we can still have our speakers. Please if you're here you can still retweet the link you can see post it in your WhatsApp, in your in your shilling community where you can tell people to join back the space because.
sethdannyyakThe first link got robbed, so we can continue. I think Stefan Deep just gave us a a brief and detailed insight about what Nfts is all about. So here we are, going over on to our next topic talking about.
sethdannyyakI'm thinking about royalties that is being attached.
sethdannyyakNfts.
sethdannyyakRoyalties.
sethdannyyakSo um.
sethdannyyakCan you guys send me hope I'm not rocking again? Because I I I feel very guilty for that space being robbed. Sorry guys.
sethdannyyakOhh, you're not working. You're not working. We can read you.
darkskinalienThat's good. That's good. So I'm, I'm, I'm shooting the ring link right away. Let's just two minutes, just two minutes, 2 minutes. Let me chill it again. Let me share the link. Swimming it. Thank you very much. So you can still continue retweeting the link, the space link. Thank you very much, everybody.
sethdannyyakAnd if you're just joining, welcome to Uhuru Vass. Welcome to Uhuru's nft space. Talking about how realties reward in NFT and affected traditional arts, yes, how profitable it is for you to bridge your heart into an NFT.
sethdannyyakSo now we're going to talk about reality. So in 2 minutes time we're going to continue. Thank you.
sethdannyyakHi guys. Why we wait? I mean um, I want to welcome all of you back. Sorry about the.
mazi_obiaguThe other space that got robbed, it was beyond our control. So welcome back, please show this space and we're going to be talking about uhuru's and ft eventually. I know a lot of you have been hearing what's this about and that's why we are here to evangelise about the next big thing coming out of Africa and poised to replicate big results. So hang on guys, show the space and then will resume.
mazi_obiaguThe topic how reality is reward in NFT at big traditional arts. So I don't know if the speakers are here, but I mean.
mazi_obiaguJust hold on guys. Hang on.
mazi_obiaguOr beginning one minute now.
mazi_obiaguThank you.
mazi_obiaguHey, yeah, just because I'm here, just because I'm here and you will get conversing in a bit and so the speakers let's just try and stay precise and accurate so that we don't get to waste a whole lot of time.
darkskinalienCause we're falling short of time because of all the technical difficulties.
darkskinalienYeah, let's keep this going guys. Can I see how it's big shout out to everybody that come in here. Big shout out to The Who energy community. Big shout out to the native of the week. Shout out to you Michael. We always see you on the community. Michael is our native of the week. He just got elected native of the week for the second time on December and he's been an amazing, amazing native in the community. The community is full of life, is full of you know people, is full of knowledge, interacti
darkskinalienAnd if you're on here and you're not on the Uhuru NFC community, click the link in the bio.
darkskinalienIf you can do it now, it fine. If you can do it at the end of the space, do so. But make sure you join in the community. A whole lot of activities, a whole lot of contests ongoing, a whole lot of people to interact with. It's a safe space who remains freedom. It's definitely a free space. Also, you know, express yourself for the full expression of your personalities.
darkskinalienAll right.
sethdannyyakI will be glad to have you guys join in.
darkskinalienOkay, thank you everyone for rejoining the space. Um, we really appreciate. So our second topic we're going to talk about.
sethdannyyakCan you guys hear me?
sethdannyyakHello.
sethdannyyakYes, yes, Danny, we can hear you. Go on, we can hear you.
mazi_obiaguOK, let's now we are going to call up Mr Opera. Mr Opera is a blockchain. There is a web 3 enthusiast and he is into NT and D5. So Mr Opera is is coming to tell us what's royalties is all about and then how are they being applied into the NFL.
sethdannyyakAnd how royalties are being applied into the NFT space. So Mr Opera, you got the floor, just give us a brief introduction of.
sethdannyyakOf yourself and yeah, what you're about and the community you're from. Thank you very much, Sir.
sethdannyyakAll right. Good evening, everybody.
operadaoGood evening, Mr you're highly welcome.
sethdannyyakYeah, I hope you can hear me very well.
operadaoVery, very well, Sir.
sethdannyyakAlright, so um, just like um Danieka said.
operadaoMy name is Oprah and I'm a blockchain developer, so I'm briefly I'll be talking about what's our NFT royalties.
operadaoAll right. Um, realties are actually not a new team.
operadaoThey are not entirely new. Royalty is actually something that has been in existence for a very long time. Alright, so.
operadaoOhh, sorry, I don't know. I'm, I've been having, I think because of yesterday's speech, I spoke for a very long time yesterday. I've been having this sore throat. But I will try as much as I can to maximise my time. Alright, so the system of real royalty payment actually, you know in traditional way of doing it before has actually been confronted with a lot of.
operadaoHave been confronted with a lot of issues like, you know, corruption, you know, misplaced data.
operadaoThe late payment, you know because of course there's there's an intermediary before and the traditional way of you know giving royalties to the artists. So because of that you know they've been facing a lot of issues like corruption whereby the middle band might collect the reality, you know, and runaway with it and a lot of it like that so and then fortunately over the past couple of years.
operadaoAnd on and on.
operadaoAn unexpected yet welcome solution has begun to gain transaction in the creative world. That is when blockchain info comes in place and we all know the futures of blockchain, one of them to be transparency, you know, and immutability whereby you can store your data and nobody will be able to alter with it. Just like the first speaker said, you know, there's a lot of, you know, artists being.
operadaoConfronted with issue of, you know, copyright by the time they release their own original stuff, another person you know, just because they want to end the reality.
operadaoAnother person will come idol take. You know probably the the the person was able to register whatever concept the person has all right, so and will be able to take the copyright from there that particular person. So I'm going further to the topic of the day. So what are NFT royalties?
operadaoNFC realities actually give artists a percentage of the same price each time their artwork is resold.
operadaoIt's just as simple as that anytime.
operadaoUm.
operadaoThe work of an artist is being resold probably after he himself, you know, have sold it. And the person also is selling it out to another person. The person, the artists actually get a percentage of the court of the total amount that the NFC is being sold is just as simple you know as that. So the royalties actually will always be paid back to the original creator. And the best part is that the whole process is automated. That is when.
operadaoThat is why I I spoke about, you know, blockchain initially, it's actually automated. It is not like before that they have to be a middleman, whereby, you know.
operadaoThe middleman will be the one that will get the royalty and give it to the original, you know, artists with the head of blockchain technology. It is actually automated. So thanks to the power of blockchain actually and smart contract.
operadaoSo artists can take home a cut of their profits from the artwork in perpetuity. So, which is precisely how royalties should function. So I'm going to how does?
operadaoAnd ft royalty work actually the amount of royalties that each artist receives, they all depend on the terms that were stipulated in the smart contract when the NFT was minted. So.
operadaoExcuse me please this my truth is actually having a lot of issues, but I believe that you guys can hear me.
operadaoThat.
operadaoOhh we can try as much as we can. See you. Thank you.
sethdannyyakAll right, all right. So the amount of reality that each artist receives all depend on the terms that were stipulated, you know, in the terms and condition of the smart contract. I'm actually a blockchain developer and I can relate to this very well, you know?
operadaoI don't have so much time to be explaining this, but I will, I will just brief it to you know so that you can understand what it means. So the agreement just like smart contracts says, it's just the normal way of doing a contract just that in a smarter way. Now alright so you do you do contract in a smarter way whereby agreement is not being written in a made on the May paper, it is being saved on a smart contract and we know some features of blockchain technology to be.
operadaoImmutability, which means that whatever that is being written on smart contract can never be tampered with. It is there for life alright, and it is transparent.
operadaoAll right, everybody can see it.
operadaoSo for an example or no pussy, the maximum royalty percentage I think is set to 10% if I'm right. So which means that artists will earn a full 10% on the future sales of their artwork. Now I'm going to give an example of how it works now. So if you mean that nsft with a 10% reality.
operadaoAlright. You mean that NFC and a 10% Realty has been configured or written in a smart contract?
operadaoSo you will get 0.5 etherium on five etherium sale. So I will try to repeat myself again you as an artist.
operadaoAlright, you as an artist.
operadaoExcuse me please. So if you meet at nsft with a 10% reality fee built in, the contracts you earn is 0.5 Ethereum on five etherium sales. So even if you had no part in the transaction, you are not supposed to be part of, you know, probably the marketers or anything for the fact that you are the original artist. Alright, so.
operadaoYou are entitled to 10% or whatever percentage it is being agreed or it is or was written on the smart contract initially. Alright, so all of this is actually made possible by the blockchain immutability and transparency, just like I said earlier. So since the public Ledger actually protects the integrity and you know the authenticity of the artwork, so the automated protocol will ensure that anytime the requirements specify in the smart contract are met.
operadaoSo the relevant action is actually taken, which in this you know in this case the payment of royalty. Furthermore, the blockchain will execute its function without the need for an external agent or intermediary, just like I said earlier, so.
operadaoI would actually be giving some additional benefit of NFT Realty and then I will stop it here. So there are also some additional Nfc's, you know, benefits. Number one is it gives artists full control over their artwork and digital creation, just like the first speaker said.
operadaoNft royalties actually gives full control over the, you know, over the artwork or whatever the artists. Either you are a singer or probably you know being being said you are an artist doesn't mean probably you are what was the word now? Probably you draw a loan, you might be you might be a singer, probably a footballer or a public figure. So NT reality actually give you the full control over the ownership of your NFT.
operadaoAnd also the second one is actually give no dispute over ownership just like I said earlier. So the third one is that it's fully automated payment system. You don't need a third party to you know to be able to get your.
operadaoYou're royalty. You can be rest assured that smart contracts will never disappoint you. So when it's time for you to get your royalty, you're going to get it on time without, you know, being delayed. And the last one, perpetual royalty, despite numbers of secondary skills, you know no matter how many times they are selling your you know your artworks, you know you can rest assured that you always be getting your royalty.
operadaoAnd I think I'm going to end it here because I don't think I have so much time to, you know, to continue having said all this, danyah, I think I'm being able to communicate what they rule NFC wants me to communicate to the people this evening, right.
operadaoYes, boss. Yes boss. Thanks a lot boss bro you.
sethdannyyakSorry, I was just trying to, I was just trying to rush and you know to make sure that I.
operadaoYeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, I mean you've been, you've been on, on, on like man on this kind of coding level. You feel me, bro, you've been on this kind of coding level, talking about smart contract, talking about like the intermediaries and all of that. But yeah, he has passed on his informations. I mean, talking about royalties simply like in a simple term, royalties is just like.
sethdannyyakIt's just the little share. Imagine, imagine, it's just the little share, okay, let me just use the terms of the blockchain because the blockchain is very, very transparent and then I'm just giving a little addition.
sethdannyyakIs very very transparent. And then when you have an art on the blockchain technology when you put your heart there and then when the should I say when someone makes beat of your heart and then you get your heart gets to to be sold out or maybe let me just assume it's a single art. If your heart get sold out, there is there is this communication within your your wallets and this this person's wallet and then you're going.
sethdannyyakIs a percentage of royalties, I mean this is a percentage that the marketplace is going to take its own percentage, meaning just like, OK, you go to the, you go to the market and then probably you buy at.
sethdannyyakAnd manufacturers price and then if you want to buy something at at at wholesale or maybe as a retailer you want to buy something from manufacturers price and then you suddenly buy it at wholesale price. So there is that little percentage that you're getting from wholesale.
sethdannyyakYour, the, that wholesaler is getting from you, that's more like a royalty that wholesaler is getting that that piece that small percentage as his profit, but it is now known as royalties in the blockchain technology. So thank you very much opera and then without wasting much of our time, we are going to yeah you can still retweet the link because yeah the the space is about to get real, real hot. I mean it's about to get real, real hot. And you can still retweet the link. You can share it to yo
sethdannyyakLefties all about about royalties and how it affects traditional arts. And you know we have many traditional artists that yes, they are very good and they can resell this, their stuffs in the blockchain technology with a huge amount of profit. So you can still retweet it so that traditional artists can see it and hop into this space and learn how to do all of this stuff. So yeah, we're going quickly to our next topic which is, yeah coming to our next topic it's talking about.
sethdannyyakUm, okay, we are going to call on our our our Infospace, Infospace.
sethdannyyakAbout of of of info thou your, your, Your Majesty, Dr Infospace you're coming to tell us about. Okay, how do you think NFT is royalty rewards better than traditional art? I mean putting this into into consideration like you being a normal artist going to the market to sell your normal art or maybe you drawing a an art of a rich man and then the rich man.
sethdannyyakTo pay you and how is it profitable compared to being bringing this hat into the blockchain technology as in having it as an NFT. So Infospace, you're highly welcome. You're highly welcome Sir. So you just show us what you have and then you introduce yourself so that the whole community will know what you about. So thank you very much Sir.
sethdannyyakInfospace are here with me.
sethdannyyakYeah, yeah, yeah. I'm here, I'm here. Sorry. I was trying to put on my mic.
infospace_ogGM GM has one good day. Have you all been? It's been a wonderful space all through.
infospace_ogOkay, by way of introduction, I know most of you guys know me already. I'm in first place OMG some people know me as Solana medic because in real life in Web two I'm a medic. So we were three or more of the content creator, work with XXX exchange, work with Ng and then the community lead for info space.
infospace_ogOkay, wonderful topic. Royalties, royalties, royalties.
infospace_ogYeah. So basically.
infospace_ogAbout.
infospace_ogI will be talking about whether Nsft reward loyalty reward better and bigger than traditional arts or not and then whether I think NFT attitude and well it is whenever their works. Are we sold if yes or no, yeah. On the first one, I believe nfts reality depends on the context where you're coming from and depends on traditional kind of traditional art you are talking about. Now let's use for example the.
infospace_ogThere's this popular art that that's what's hundreds of 1,000,000 right now.
infospace_ogThis beautiful Mona Lisa. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The Mona Lisa painting. I've been reading about it. I've read some stuff because I I used to read about.
infospace_ogOhh that's on sculptures way back. So now anytime, anytime, anytime when I decide you should be selling, collector gets 10% of the selling fee. So if it's sold for $400 million the selling collector gets 40 million. So in that case you can say traditional arts pays better because before you make $40 million in in, in, in, in royalties, in NFT to it will be a long way. But then coming to conventional acts like the.
infospace_ogRandom one. I feel NFP is better and it gives artists the the yeah, an easier means to get there.
infospace_ogPay back their royalties, you know, because personally to me.
infospace_ogI believe royalty is like a way of paying back to artists, especially for free means or less low payments. Now this brings me to the 4th question, do do I think NFT artists should anywhere else whenever their works are resold?
infospace_ogCan you guys hear me or am I working please?
infospace_ogWe can hear.
darkskinalienYes, we can hear you. We can hear you.
sethdannyyakCan I guess if you get OK, OK, OK. Thank you. Thank you. Now about whether I think artists should anyway, it is if they are, if they are this thing if they are at is resolved. If there anything is resolved, yes or no. This is a very complex issue. You guys will know this is one of the most.
infospace_ogThe one of the most intriguing issues that we've faced in the recent past and I think this issue actually contributed to the downfall of Solana in the ecosystem now.
infospace_ogThe thing about this topic is that people look at it from a simple yes or no or no perspective, which is very wrong. I think when people look at royalties from a multidimensional outlook, I feel would would do better that way. Now this is what I mean.
infospace_ogNfg realities should he be collected yes or no? It's it's it's both yes to me it's both yes and no. Now it depends on the circumstance. Now let me give two scenarios. The first one is the yes this years is for projects that are free means or they they are very low payment like some projects that were made for 0.0001. They just want you to meet like with a fee to prevent to prevent button or very low payment. So this kind of project they will need to.
infospace_ogOhh to implement their Rd maps they need to do a lot of things post means and where do these collectors, where do these illustrators, these artists, where would they get the money from the funds from? It's only from royalties. So for payments and low for three mins and low payments, I feel loyalty is a yes. It should be a yes for them. Now come to the other side. They know aspect.
infospace_ogThere's some projects that I paid mean, say there was some projects back then. I don't want to mention instrumented for about three years, three years and then.
infospace_ogThere are projects that we needed for up to one is 0.7 and cold guys remember back then.
infospace_ogSo I feel this project and most of these projects, some of them are PPP projects, some of them are just as some of them do have their for tickets, they are ticketing project. Now if you are quitting app project and you are already collecting I am a sum of money, so you're connecting to is for a PF people. I don't see any reason why you should. You need to collect royalties from people that are sending again because.
infospace_ogLittle box to.
infospace_ogImplement your road map during means. Now other projects should arts like you, you, you, you just create a ticket, also a ticket for NFT NYC and then it's already paid very high means say .5 eighth or one east and then this money is focused towards.
infospace_ogWhat's the event? And after the events the the ticket doesn't have any meaning again, I don't think you should collect royalties on that because you already make your book to to to to to let the conference hold. But then.
infospace_ogSo you know instance even for pipe paid means in an instance where it's a gaming, for example, it's a gaming NFT and then you are quitting a game. But then you already say, okay, let me use myself as an example. I start a project and it's a gaming in FT. It has a very long run Mark. It's it's it's feasible within the next 20-30 years.
infospace_ogAnd then I collect every I payment every. I meant pricey one is but then this one is digital money I collected would be able to only bring this plan to fruition within a 10 year span span. In that case I can still get way it is, but then the royalties will be very minimum. Not to take a lot of bulk from the people that are selling or something like a lot of percentage from resellers because.
infospace_ogAs much as people talk about holding their mundane and everything, people will earn FTS, so people are sending shouldn't be at a huge loss from say you are collecting you at the money 15%. I think it's outrageous for the high payment to be demanding 1510% royalties so he can collect a bit of reality .55% which will be focused on the long term.
infospace_ogRoad map of the project. So it's not really a this. This is for giving project. It's not only for giving price. For some projects that have long good maps I feel they can adopt this but but free and low paid means definitely even if they say 10 to 15% it's it's actually justifiable because these people they will get money from especially for free means they are giving you this for free. If you are reselling should be able to give at least 10% of your of what you make for me and then it should be
infospace_ogFor for I played means it's divided into 2 if it's a PFP or a project that the the the means prize what you get from the main prize. As the project can actually implement the old road map, there's no need to get more, there's no need to get more through realities. But then if you as an artist or.
infospace_ogAnd illustrator you are creating something sustainable for a long time and you need to get more books to run this. Even after the main prize you collect finishes, you can get a bit of royalties to to to to to push your project forward. So I feel that if we look at it from this multidimensional view, look at it from okay, a project by project basis or a the circumstance of each project if you will come to a very a very much friendly understanding of royalties and use of royalties in DfT.
infospace_ogSo with this I think I've just, I don't want to take much time. I've already explained my own view of this and I'll be looking forward to you guys questions and comments. Thank you.
infospace_ogAlright. Yeah, thank you very much Infospace. Thank you very much for that wonderful one.
sethdannyyakSo yeah, basically if you if you listen carefully to to Infospace, Infospace basically told us that the.
sethdannyyakIf you are just a PFP project, or probably if you just.
sethdannyyakIf you're just like a paid means if you're a paid means, you don't need to set up your royalties too high.
sethdannyyakDon't. It's not. You don't need to set up your realities too high in the you know, there are so many artists. I mean NFT, NFT projects, like he said, he doesn't want to mention names, and I don't want to mention names either. There are so many projects that set up their royalties too high after their payment being, um, maybe, probably around 0.5 eighth or maybe.
sethdannyyakYou know different blockchains, you know there are different project on different blockchains probably if you are setting your realities to be setting percentage, there are some pretty that are setting their royalties to be 10%, having some maybe having some means for like $200.00 fee or probably $100 fee and then you're setting your royalties to be 10%. So basically if you are flipping or if you're reselling that project and then that that that particular creator is having their royalties.
sethdannyyakOK. If you're selling that project for like $1000 and then 10% is for the royalties, that is per one sale, 1 sale, a single seal is getting 10% of $100, that's $10.00 for one person. Imagine if the whole collection is about like 5000 collections and then you're getting 10,000, but that is for one silo. If someone should come back and buy that thing again, it stencil is 10% that's.
sethdannyyak$100 another $1010.00 reselling just like that. Rinse and repeat. So you know there are so many projects having to do all those kind of thing and it's not as like in that team. Basically it's info space is telling me it's not proper for you to set your realities too high, but then you can set your realities to be at least five percent 678. I mean it should be the marks.
sethdannyyakIt should be the marks in that aspect if you're even having a paid means project. But if you're having a kind of project, probably is a free means and you can set it up die so that yes, the creator is going to make money from his own collections. Yes, despite the Nfts is is probably a highly utility project, you understand. So that's basically it. And thank you very much for that info space. So basically you've answered our fifth question because the 5th question was like.
sethdannyyakWas what is the possible challenges that are faced with the regards to royalties in the NFT space? Yes, you just explained everything. Some creators are being just greedy. They are being too greedy. So thank you very much for that wonderful one.
sethdannyyakInfospace and yes, Victor, you're going to just give us a little two cents of.
sethdannyyakOf the NFT and artists royalties and if yes or no?
sethdannyyakCan you?
sethdannyyakYeah, guys. Um.
darkskinalienCan you guys hear me?
sethdannyyakYeah.
sethdannyyakBefore yeah we can hear you before before Vito start speaking, I just wanted to say to everybody that's just joining us this is who and it sees Twitter space and where the biggest African collectible projects on this side of the globe and we'll speak about how royalties rewarding NFC and affects traditional arts where and I feel community streak.
darkskinalienWell based projects and we're very beyond community. We're very big on people coming together and building what the future is and actualise their dream of preserving black history and taking it onto the next generation. So if you want to know more about this project, if you haven't joined our community, you can checkout our website at ft dot I/O.
darkskinalienOur discord, we have the link in our bio and then we have a couple contests going on. We have giveaway that also being active on our Twitter space. At the moment we have a prize pool of over 100,000 for the.
darkskinalienContest where you have to tag your friends to the project. So tag your friends your, tag your dad, tag your mom, tag your.
darkskinalienIt doesn't just have to be people that you you feel are crypto enthusiasts, right? Or they have to write crypto enthusiasts and their value. This is the future that we're building and who NFC they perform that guides that. So if you haven't done that, please join the community, please.
darkskinalienView of the project. Tag your friends, participate in the contest.
darkskinalienYeah, big shout out to everyone. Be shout out to everyone you. If you're just joining this piece right here, you're highly welcome. And yes, if you're just joining this piece, you can just hit a blue button on uhuru's nft and then turn on notification because there's a lot of stuff you're going to know about the African society, about the, about the.
sethdannyyakAfrican society and then you're going to we are we are having a lot of activities in the discard a lot of activities on the Twitter space. You're going to have insights about the African community and how this the Africans go with everything and then yes and Victor you're going to just give us a little sense because we don't have much time. You're going to give us little sense about this royalty issue and if you think NFT artists.
sethdannyyakEntitled to to end royalties. Anytime they are art is being resold. Anytime they art is being resold. Do you think if you think they need to?
sethdannyyakIn royalties for their admin resold. And then you tell us the reason why you say yes or no. So thank you very much. And then we have limited time at the moment so that Mr Mazzy is going to come up and tell us more about Laura's NFT and Uhuru's vaslap. So thank you very much.
sethdannyyakAlright, thank you so much man. So I'm just going to do a little recap on everything every other speaker said earlier. So yeah, before moving further, good evening everybody, my name is Victor and I'm a Web 3 enthusiast, also a graphic designer, founder of from the East community. So now relating to water, the question said earlier or asked earlier, alright, so.
veetor_aThe equation goes, does, he said, do you think any of the artists should end royalties whenever their works are resold, yes or no? Now I would say yes. And while because realities are actually like what keeps this project alive, aftermath now, I really want to appreciate Mr Opera and Mr Infospace just because of what they, you know, said in total, like in all because they actually, like, said a lot.
veetor_aBut they need to, you know, realities of NFT and what these artists earn from, you know, this NFT they make now, you can't possibly expect the team to continue improving the project with just the mainstream. Okay, let's give a scenario now, if this project happens to be a free minute, how can the team make the most of it when they didn't even get anything from the mains? So basically, any priorities like what Mr Opera said earlier, he said next realities.
veetor_aCan anybody hear Victor? Or I'm the one raging or victor is raging?
sethdannyyakI am not rugging right.
sethdannyyakNo, you're not.
darkskinalienNo, you're not, Danny.
infospace_ogYou're not. I can hear you clearly.
infospace_ogOK, seems like we just lost Victor.
sethdannyyakUse this as percentage of the you know sales price each time their artwork is resold and this process is worth automated. Now I feel you know some people might be new year and they don't really get the the Fuji store or what you said about that. Now NFT realities us all it works with you know a smart contracts on the blockchain and this thereby makes this process automated.
veetor_aSeems like we lost Victor. Well basically Victor is coming to like give us another big insight and intuition on on this royalties issues because that that is what has been ravaging around because if you look at it.
sethdannyyakPeople on this is definitely outward being put in place by the Nazis, so whatever skill you are.
veetor_aOhh Victor just got rocked again. So I'm going to just like give a recap. So talking about you know see if this royalties has been an issue in this blockchain technology. If you look at the Solana blockchain now they've they've cut down royalties. There is no royalties on Solana blockchain right now. Artists don't end royalties. I mean, or should I possibly say the marketplace don't end royalty. You just come there you place your I mean you explain what your heart is all about and then if people
sethdannyyakDid they buy your art and then yes. So in that kind of in that kind of scenario now what do you think? I mean, do you think Solana Blockchain NFT is now? They don't. I mean if you're launching a project on Solana blockchain, do you as in if you're not any royalties from me, do you think it's right, it's your right to end reality or it's not your right or it's not necessary for you to end realities. So that is just basically it because they are there is a blockchain. That's like I said Sulana, yo
sethdannyyakI mean, it is, it is now a new smart contract rule that have been overruled from any royalties. So thank you very much everybody. Thank you very much the speakers for coming up to tell us about NFT and realities and how it affects the blockchain technology and traditional art itself. So yeah, we're going to welcome the gods.
sethdannyyakMr Mazzy, yes, you're you're going to take the mic right now.
sethdannyyakI'm. I've been. I'm sorry. This year. Can you accept, Mr Mather? I don't know if it's me, it's from my ends or your own ends. You can just accept.
sethdannyyakMr Mazzy.
sethdannyyakIt would be our goal, the gods.
sethdannyyakThat is coming to speak to us about who's NFT. So basically let me just quickly chill in the question. So we are going to hear from the Who's NFT founding team itself. Yeah, we're going to assume that uhuru's nft, let's assume uhuru's NFT is to NZ0 realities from reselling the art in an open marketplace. Will that still have an effect on the innovations that is beyond rules?
sethdannyyakBut first, before then, we're going to give you a little and brief information about who's NFT and who's vascular, because who's vaslap is, is, is it contains different packages. So whose NFT itself is a is part of the package that is being integrated about who's vaslap. So Mr Mazi, which is about to come on board, come on stage to tell us about.
sethdannyyakWho's nft? And uhuru's vaslap itself.
sethdannyyakAnd then we'll tell us how the royalties let's assume if there's zero realties attached to UN ft, if it's going to have an effect on the innovations whose energy is coming to dish out to us, so.
sethdannyyakYeah, so that we can, we can go on. Ohh. Mr Massey is is off here, but then before, before before Mr Magic comes on board.
sethdannyyakJust.
sethdannyyakTwitter have been very, very, very somehow.
sethdannyyakSorry to say, Mr Elon, Elon Musk, because you've you've blocked, I mean, you've suspended many people's accounts.
sethdannyyakI just hope you don't suspend mine. Many people have been complaining about suspension. I mean Twitter is supposed to be decentralised right now because it is in our mosque that is handling the whole technical stuff. So, but yeah, Twitter have been having little issues.
sethdannyyakSo once again, once again, if you haven't followed uhuru's nft, you can just give the blue button to Urus NFT. If you're here and then you haven't followed the who's nft, go and follow uhuru's NFT and then cheque on the tweet about of tweet for Eurus and ft tweet about uhuru's and ft, and then cheque everything, the timeline, the the the stories about who's and left. And then you can go to the disco because there's a lot of.
sethdannyyakActivities that is going on. A lot of educational contents going on on rules and ft discord you can just click on the link three and and go to ooze NFT dot io if you want to know more about uhuru's NFT as well and then you can join the discord you can follow who's and empty on Instagram. I mean who's NFT is on all social platforms you can join and then you get important informations about the Africa about some.
sethdannyyakBlock block movies, you need to know that talks about the African history and all of that. So you can just quickly do that before Mr Massey comes on board to give us a solid answer about Horus and ft being 0, being on 0 royalties if it's going to have an effect on uhuru's NFT innovations. Because yes, there are so many, so many projects I'm going to say is right now there are so many projects that set their standard.
sethdannyyakOf of realities too high. I mean being a paid means and then they state the standard. Imagine if you sell an act, like I said, if you sell an art of $100, they're going to cut down $10 from your from your $100. And that means you're having $90.00 per sale. If you're going to buy it again that with $100, if someone is coming to buy with their $100, they're going to cut $10 from that, from that.
sethdannyyakThat's just like royalty fee.
sethdannyyakIt is called royalty fee, so that is basically it.
sethdannyyakOK.
sethdannyyakOK. Mr Mazzy, welcome, welcome back.
sethdannyyakThat have been really, really, really somehow these days. No cap.
sethdannyyakSo, Mr Magic, can you hear me?
sethdannyyakHi, guys.
mazi_obiaguYes, I can hear you loud and clear.
mazi_obiaguOK. I don't know if maybe you've been on the listeners.
sethdannyyakLet's not stop. And you you've listened.
sethdannyyakTo what I said, I said OK about the whole who's nft? I said you're going to come and brief us about Rover's lab and who's NFT itself for for few minutes and then you're going to tell us if who's NFT is to end 0 realities from their reselling of their art in the marketplace in the open marketplace, will it have an an effect on.
sethdannyyakOn the innovation that is behind us and left, that is either a positive or a negative effect on that. So you can just quickly tell us first about Uhuru's vast labs and then Urus NFT itself so that everybody will understand what who's NFT is all about. And then we're going to know the innovation if it's going to be to be tampered with if it's on a 0 realities level, because I know that Ethereum blockchains don't even have 0 realities. So yeah, you can just chill it to us. Thank you very much.
sethdannyyakIt didn't.
mazi_obiaguI will come and speak.
sethdannyyakThank you so much, Danny. Thank you so much everybody for coming around. And this is Uhuru NFT. My name is.
mazi_obiaguOpen now, but I mean on the Internet I'm referred to as many as you, Diego and the high priest who NFT tribe and I'm here to talk about UNFT. So thank you so much for coming around and I will just go straight to the point. So pretty much started sometime last year, October of 2021 when I came around I was like OK, we need to do something beyond just flipping and easy jeans we need to do.
mazi_obiaguSomething that has real value, I mean to people beyond just any ft zone, Fe and antigens, right. And then we came up with an idea that why don't we tell African stories. I mean African stories has been told on all web two platform. If you go on Netflix, there are a lot of movies on African history, on black history. If you go on YouTube, they offer 1,000,000 videos on on African history and black history. And then we said we want to be disruptive, let's take this thing to the web. I mean history
mazi_obiaguTransition, we had to be The Pioneers of this idea. And then we, we started on October of last year, did a bit of love research on NFT itself. Yeah, we're nft enthusiasts at 10. So to be a dev, you need a lot of research, right? And then we have to study the subject matter itself, which is African history and her. And then we came about our flagship products.
mazi_obiaguLet's see some African arts taking to the Web 3 and injuring Affliction is a Freeman collection, and the Freeman collection is on the premise of the whole.
mazi_obiaguEvents that end the heinous event that happened in Africa from the 16th to the 19 century. This event is not something that is new you guys are aware of the trans advised the trade, right? So what we've done now is that we've stood ourselves, that we want this story because we believe that history has to be preserved one way or the other. Yes, a lot of people say slavery is over flowing. Why are you guys talking about it again, right. But we have we have actually came to the understanding that i
mazi_obiaguWhat's disputing that? But we didn't take we are coming to see. We need to preserve this history because in the words of John Satya, someone who we actually ruled very, very tight in the team, and he says those who do not remember the past are doomed to actually repeat it. And so for that reason we said no, we need to do something to represent Africa right and beyond.
mazi_obiaguIs a product of the company itself, Uhuru Vaslav LLC where we're Christoph company registered in Texas, United States and we have presence in Nigeria and Ghana, in Canada, in Cameroon and UK and in America. We are pretty much still very, very early on and we are building something for Africa. We are trying to represent Africa. I mean Africa has been at the, the, the, the, the part of consumers.
mazi_obiaguRight. We've been more of the consumer part and when it comes to Web three and then we decide that we need to come and disrupt the whole space and instead of being consumers now become feeders of web 3 technology, not just to Africa but to the globe. And that's what Uhuru Vaslav is very, very innovative. We have pretty much a lot, a lot of ideas beyond just left and we are delving into some other product that will be unveiling to the Community in the future who anything now is very community cen
mazi_obiaguOn the mission to create a community of free minded people and beyond just the NFT collection, we look forward to having our own metaverse platform called the Uhuru vast. I mean the Uhuru vast is where you can come and be someone who you want to be. Is is the metaphors for the free mind where you can explore everything. Africa? Is it from the history and culture? Is it dishes? Is it clothing? Is he fashion? Is he music? Right I mean.
mazi_obiaguIt's very big for us and we're not just here for who cash grabs and who. Let's just make the big book, right?
mazi_obiaguWe are yet to build something that will outlive us in the next decade, 2 decades, 3 decades. I mean we are. We were actually more motivated to build something that will last a long time. That in in the next century people will look back and say these people actually did something for us back hundred years ago. That is our vision and that's why we've been building for a year now. Yeah, I mean, a lot of projects would have been three months launched their NFT, right. But we have to take our time a
mazi_obiaguOrganisations like the UNI mean as the founder of this project, I shield it sometimes on my LinkedIn and I was able to get the interest of get people like United Nations and the Department of the Remembrance of Slavery and the Transatlantic Trade. And these people have been invited me on 2 occasions to events pertaining you get the translation and that's big for us because that's recognition, right? It is not just about PP, it's a collectible.
mazi_obiaguAnd it is creating a synergy between people of Africa and Africa and then people of African descent outside the globe. Before the 16th century, we didn't really have Africans outside Africa. There were very few of them. It was these events that have that will see US S Africans or people of black race in countries like the Dominican, in Cuba and Brazil. I mean in Brazil, Africa is dominant even when it comes to religion and culture. If it's been worshipping Brazil, Yoruba is a popularly spoken la
mazi_obiaguSo what we are trying to create is a community of people that are like minded people of African descent who tends who want to get pushed out African culture to be consumed on a global scale and to be preserved. Because trust me, if we don't do it, no one will do it for us. And we are, we are very, very Afrocentric in stature. It is Africa's alone on the team. Yeah, inasmuch as we want to we get have expertise from other races but when it comes to the community, it's actually for Africans we are
mazi_obiaguThey come to Nigeria and say we need to start from get West Africa and from there we would explore other frontiers of the globe, I mean at the European markets, the Caribbeans, America and other parts of the world. So we are still very early on, we are building something that would last that would that would stand the test of time. It's big for me, it's big for every member of the team beyond just NFT we are we are yet to push something for Africa and it's, it's, it's wanted to know that.
mazi_obiaguI'm in the lab that is bruvas lab. One of the products will be launching would be an African made via headset. I mean we identified that VR headset is quite expensive for yet. I mean the likes of the metal quest and and all of the other ones request proof it's a bit expensive for African that would be bin. It's going to be a bin from Africa for Africa to assess the metaverse as to who have taken it upon themselves to putting research work to have her own VR headset.
mazi_obiaguMade in Africa for African people. Because trust me, when you are having a VR headset for even $400.00 or $500.00, very little amount of people can actually afford it, right? And then it takes us out of the whole experience of the Uhuru as the Metaverse. And so these are things that we are going to do for the Community, for Africa. Yeah. So I want you guys to come where we are building something very big beyond just you get the team and we believe that Community matters to us.
mazi_obiaguYou come together, we push this thing and change all of our lives, change all of our names and change the narrative for Africa. Because in the Western media, Africa is more or less regarded as a third world country, right? We want to show that we are capable. We are capable of leading even in the web. Three take we have bright minds in Africa and Uhuru versus saying let's come together, let's build something for ourselves that will say yes, my name is Dia was part of the people who built Uhuru w
mazi_obiaguWithout mother, without further do you when you. I don't know if I should talk about utility. I don't know if this time, but I mean there are a lot of partnership we've had. I mean with the likes of UD, unstoppable domain. And what they've done is that they say this project is nice. I love this project. We want to reward your community with free domain crypto domains. So if you guys are familiar with crypto domains.
mazi_obiaguUnstable domain has given us $40,000 worth of crypto domains to reward to our community members. That was big for us. I mean, if we're not really doing something worthwhile, we probably won't have sealed that partnership. But that's to show that yes, Uhuru versus is here for the long haul. We are yet to take it. Take the web 3 by the bull. We're yet to drive adoption. We are yet to push Africans and to make sure that we are not left behind because trust me, if nobody does it.
mazi_obiaguWe'll just be at the consuming end, just as we are consuming. We have two platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tik, T.O.K, all of I mean, why can't Africa have their own?
mazi_obiaguSocial media brand that is working globally. I asked myself that question, but since I'm in the web 3 space, what do I do? I need to act in the web free space and make sure that the story doesn't repeat itself, right. So I mean, we are here for the long haul. We are calling on everybody on this space. Please join the community. We have a lot in stock. We are building for the long term. Yeah. So Danielle, I don't know if I could go to the question now or is there anything?
mazi_obiaguI didn't see.
mazi_obiaguOhh yeah yeah. Thank you very very much Mr Mauzy will be algood the gods.
sethdannyyakWhich has spoken just now about Uhuru's and ft and Uhuru's Vaslav. So yeah even from from from from the whole innovations behind urusan ft as you all have heard as we all are paid okay now the main question okay if we are assuming that that OK because who's NFT is it's it's more like a package in the whole Vaslav because there is different things that is coming into whose vast slabs itself so the who's.
sethdannyyakLeft now it's a package that is coming to Uhuru, that is coming to the NFT and it is built on the Ethereum blockchain as we all believe. And now the question is what if if this rules NFT since it is built on the in the on the on the Ethereum blockchain because Ethereum blockchain allows royalties. Okay, what if whose NFT should go on 0 realities, is this still going to affect?
sethdannyyakOhh affect positively or negatively the.
sethdannyyakThe innovations behind rules and that is the that is the question right now. So Mr Obiago, you're going to just hit us a little bit about this and thank you very much.
sethdannyyakI thank you so much. And Danny, yeah, about reactions I enjoyed, just to mention, I enjoyed all of the session talking on realities and I mean it's a topic now in this space. I think open C has even said they are considering taking off. You get royalties from their market place and that's disturbing. I mean it's very disturbing for projects like serious projects like ours, right. For us royalty is something that we don't want to miss out on because we are building something that is beyond just.
mazi_obiaguAs it grows raw Rogan and and and quick quick quick cash right we're building something that we want to skill overtime somewhere sustainable that can be pushed to the future that can I mean compete with the likes of matter. I mean I always tell my team members if you can think it you can do you don't even need to even be scared just act and continue. So when it comes to realities I don't think it would be good for our own project because trust me we decided that we as a community that 10% of our
mazi_obiaguThings will be used to uphold SDG goals across Africa. Because sure, Africa was the biggest loser when it comes to the whole event of the transitional field. I mean, we have over 25 million people shipped out of the continent. Not this, not even old people. These are bright people, the brightest of of of Africans, the youngest, the strongest. So I mean, imagine that.
mazi_obiaguAnd how he gets incapacitated, Africa was at that time, so one of our incentive or our utilities that we want to give back to Africa by opposing easy goals in collaboration with you get no non governmental relations like maybe one African child and other non governmental relations. So all of this would be possible if our royalties are being slashed and we want to give back to Africa. We are Afrocentric in nature. Everything is for Africa.
mazi_obiaguAfrica faces and then maybe we can say that we want to see the globally right so and and for us royalties is a is a is a source of revenue that will help us achieve all of our goals. I mean we want to take we want to create a massive environment where anybody in the world right can visit Africa by just putting on their Oculus headset and have the A recorded. He gets a massive experience and maybe in the future we might have to make it a real time if the technology is available right it recorded.
mazi_obiaguYou must have experienced or places destinations in Africa. I mean like the likes of the safari, like the likes of of popular piece. I mean we have one in Nigeria. I visited Obudu cattle ranch and I so much love that place. I always see that means they are very beautiful places in Africa that we need to show the world is beyond just corruption that we are being known for its beyond, beyond.
mazi_obiaguAnd bad leadership. We have beautiful sceneries, right? And then for us too, I mean with the whole subject matter of we get the translate free. One thing we realise is that people of Afghanistan always come back to Africa just to have you get a few of their roots.
mazi_obiaguRight. Some of them go to Badagry to have a feel of get what the ancestor went through. I mean in the slavery landmarks, I mean we have another one in Cape Coast in Ghana and what we decided to do is that we want to capture these places and we 3D massive world where you don't need to even come again. Yes, it's not even, you don't need to think about the travelling because a lot of people are sceptical about coming to Africa because of insecurity scams. We did survey for all of these and then rea
mazi_obiaguWhat have we done now? We've been able to create a solution where wherever you are in the world, you can just put on your behalf and said and have an immersive experience. Of all these experiences, yes, most of all I've been to Badagry twice, right? Just understand what happened, what transpired. You see the point of no return and know what this place is. All of this won't be possible for us if we don't have royalties in as much as we are also reaching out to get this is to invest in our idea, i
mazi_obiaguTo achieve all of our goals. And we are doing something disruptive here. Guys, we are not here to joke. We are not here to joke at all. I mean, we have three. It's it's not even a side hustle for me. It's my life. Who is my life I have. I mean, before we three I had mean horses, right? Will not trust me. They'll side horses because.
mazi_obiaguWho is my new hostel now? It's my life. I'm trying to create a legacy and I believe that one day, one day, I always say my team members, one day you will meet mazi on CNN and on BBC talking about how we started Uhuru. And it can only be possible if we all come together, join our hands to build something that will outlive gets, I mean, the space itself. So I mean, I don't know if I answered that question. If you leave me, I'll talk to you next, next year. So I mean, and we don't have a lot of tim
mazi_obiaguYeah, but yeah boss, you just gave it to us. Hot, hot, hot left, right centre. Yes, that is what uhuru's NFT is all about. UNT is a project for the African community. Everybody have a voice. I mean, just look at it in the in the, you know, this, this whole story of the African.
sethdannyyakAnd the African story is being alternated. If you look at it very carefully, there are so many movies out there. There are so many movies out there that alternates aurus. I mean, I said Uhuru, that alternated the African story, the story of the blocks, the transfer, Hara, slavery, trade and all that. How it all came to Africa, how people were being, you know, this story was iterated. But if you look at it, whose NFT is giving it on the blockchain, and this is when you.
sethdannyyakTility. I have I myself as, as as someone that have been into nfts for for for years. I mean since the since the time euphoria of NFT started I've been into NFT and there are different NT with utility that music utility, different entities with gaming utility, different NT with virtual real estate utility. But then I've never seen a project. I've never seen an NFT project that is coming to preserve his.
sethdannyyakI mean preserving history kind of utility and for the fact that whose energy is coming to preserve the history of Africans so that yes, it's going to be on the blockchain because the blockchain technology is, is is something that is going to last forever. So long as the evolution of money keeps on going on and on and on. The blockchain technology is here to stay. The blockchain technology is the, is the, is the new money, I mean is the new evolution of money. Everything is being integrated into
sethdannyyakI have two films coming into the blockchain having some solid stuffs and build ups on the blockchain technology. That's why we have different blockchains. We have the Ethereum blockchain, we have the Avax blockchain, I mean those blockchain that support decentralised application building, support smart building of smart contracts. So who's anything is reserving on Ethereum which we know that Ethereum is the IS, is, is, is, is beyond, is is different if he is decentralised finance and it's a soli
sethdannyyak3.
mazi_obiaguTo hold everything and whose NFT is building on their own blockchain. Guys, it's NT is building on its own blockchain. And yes, it is preserving African history. And this project is for everybody and is for every boost the value of being a black that knows the value of Africa, that knows it. So yes, we all ought to come together and then talk about Africa. Yes, are you not proud of being an African? Are you not proud of being an African? And imagine if this story is being reserved.
sethdannyyakIs being reserved, yes. Who's nfd is coming out giving us, giving us something to value as Africans, we have been on the consuming side. I mean there's nothing, there's nothing solid that Africans have built in the, in the, in the, in the, in the, in the technology aspects.
sethdannyyakI mean in the technology aspect and now blockchain is bringing all this opportunity to be able to build something into the blockchain. And then yes, these innovations come came into Mr Mr Amazi Obiago, I mean the gods gave him this inspiration to voice out for Africans. So that this project is going to come on and show us how valuable we Africans is, how we are in the blockchain technology and then we're going to be displaying, I mean whose energy is coming to display a whole lot of stuff.
sethdannyyakBut if you got a whole lot of beautiful places in the in the in the virtual reality world, I mean talking about the headset, utility man is top notch. So yes, if you're here on this face right now and you haven't followed uhuru's NFT, if you haven't followed the host, just go and follow the host right now and then join the discord. There are different educational content you're going to acquire in the in the discord and even in the in the Twitter. Just turn on notification. There are a whole lot
sethdannyyakRight now. So thank you very much Mr Mazi, and thank you very, very much. Yes, we are going to entertain question because we don't have much time on our side because we've gone beyond the normal time we were supposed to come because, yeah, I mean, I mean the whole Twitter thing is, is, is, is somehow to us right now. So if you have a question, I saw many people requesting for Mike and then I don't know why I'm not seeing the request anymore. But if you have a question for Mr Mazi or you have a q
sethdannyyakFeeling we are only accepting 5 people cycle that is if we have I mean I I saw like 7 people requesting for Mike probably don't want to talk about who or maybe you want to recommend about who's NFT. So yeah it's a project for the community. It's for everybody where everybody, I mean Africans have voice in this okay web 3.
sethdannyyakIs requesting for Mike. So let me just bring you up so that you can pitch in some things you have for us.
sethdannyyakPromise, Mr promise.
sethdannyyakSo you're now a speaker?
sethdannyyakI don't know. Are you are you a speaker right now?
sethdannyyakOK. You're not a speaker, so thank you for coming up here. So you can just show us what you got for us, probably if you have a question. So thank you.
sethdannyyakPromise I'm with three. I don't know. Is it?
sethdannyyakYeah.
promise_ethThey are. Good day everyone. Quick question. I just wanted to have a quick question. So from what I've been hearing who NT is more like a storytelling NFC, more like the task cost of where you get to know about the.
promise_ethThe history of Africa and highs and how it all went down, you know. So all that asks is this like.
promise_ethOhh.
s_us_0More like the utility or is because I hear I was saying when he said, I was saying when he talked about the virtual headsets of the being in the Metaverse. So you know people don't actually to be honest people don't actually get to always find a way to stay in the metaverse. Like people want to like experience like have real experiences. So is he more like.
promise_ethLike enlighten me more on the utilities.
promise_ethOkay, thank you so much for that question. With three, um, so when it comes to the VR headset, right, like I said, we've identified that it's costly for African people. I mean, $400.00 being the minimum is a lot. That should be around 400,000. I mean, that should be around 300 or two 50,000, right. So what we've done is that for holders of our NFT, for holders, our NFT gets all of our gadgets at discounted prices, right?
mazi_obiaguI suppose being the full price which is also subsidised for other people you get that are outside the Community. And if we're talking about utilities, there are a lot of utilities we have. I mean the crypto domain is one of them which we believe will intensify and make crypto transactions easier for our community members. And suppose you're sending all of your address, you could just said with three MC dot crypto and then integrate all of your wallet on it and when you saying to someone they sen
mazi_obiaguBecause you eat wallet, they send you PC, goes to your BTC wallet address and what of you. So beyond that also you have access to our metaphors, all of our educational content and the metaphors for non holders. Because we want to talk about African history. We are not just looking for holders but not holders. We have decided that a stipend will be he gets will be charged that will even help us scale our business that will help us get create revenue and makes Hoover slap you get sustainable overt
mazi_obiaguAnd not just depend on get seals of any ft and royalties, right we have we have looked for ways to create more businesses inside that makes it sustainable overtime and we also have a match quality image that will be given to all holders of our NFT. Do you know that as a hold of our NFT you get to have traditional African titles, fighter titles in UVAS? Yeah, it's something that we are working on.
mazi_obiaguBasically to create this this.
mazi_obiaguYeah, uniqueness, right in our metaphors and I'm in the innovations are endless. We are building, we are disrupting the space. And we also have the 3D prints of your NFC collectible, because it's not the PFP we don't want to use.
mazi_obiaguThree month collection as PFD because of how sensitive the topic is. It is more of a collectible where I mean having it is super super rare because trust me we have a large market. There are over 25 million people of African descent in America who relates to this story and we hit surveys in Dallas and then show this to people who have neighbour were three people who have never invested in any of this before and these people were so vested and said they want to buy don't know the part of this bec
mazi_obiaguGet history and beyond just the American market, if you look at the Caribbeans and the Latin American countries, if you look at Brazil, look at Haiti, Jamaica, all these people relate to this story. And then the market is big is there. Now what we, we decided to start from Africa because Africa is the motherland, right? And then from here we gain the traction we need to push out to other frontiers and other market. So their love utilities, being a member, giving back to Africa as as a member is
mazi_obiaguDo a very very clear and and prestigious manner right because a lot of NGOs are just scams but this is gonna be community driven where everybody in the community is involved as part of our utility to we we are also will be giving head drops. We get festivals, the likes of Afro Nation, Powerful Nation is happening in Ghana. December of this year will have the likes of 1 Africa Music Fest and eventually right Rovers will have its own festival that celebrated different part of Africa.
mazi_obiaguAnd what will we get to bring people back? I mean, in 2019 and there was this specific that happened in Accra, Ghana that saw thousands of Americans of African descent come back to Africa to just have access to their roots. And I didn't mention that. We are also working on a collaboration with a company called African ancestry. And what this collaboration is all about is that we have said, Okay, now we've been rewarding African people, how do we reward people of African descent outside Africa? A
mazi_obiaguAfrica if you're a hoodoo buying FC you get a discounted you get priced too. Actually retrace your route to Africa. A lot of people are doing it. See the likes of Samuel L Jackson was able to retrace his route to Gabon and he was excited he even had got citizenship and the passport. I mean yes he might not use it but trust me they are excited to just have get a connexion back to their roots and we we we we actually debated that this would be a nice utility for people of Afghan descent outside Af
mazi_obiaguThere are collaborations we have, we are doing, we are here because we want to promote Africa and we we we have to just do it together. My core team can't do it alone and we are inviting the whole of you guys, the community to come and join hands. Let's join hands and build something for Africa that is scalable eventually. Thank you so much guys.
mazi_obiaguAlright. Thank you very much Mr Mazzy for that one.
sethdannyyakWho's nft this I think this is the third time who's NFT. I've been on Twitter live spaces and yes you can cheque on rules and ft you can cheque on whose NFT dot IO if you want to know more and understand more about. I mean who's NFT has a lot a lot of stuff to offer to us. So yeah thank you very much Mr Mazi and thank you Web three promise for that wonderful question that you asked. So the next.
sethdannyyakI'm going to call on night night. You're going to ask your question and if it is for for the speakers or or for Mr Mauzy that the founder of Uhuru's NFT VAR slaps or Urus Vaslav sorry I mean I mean vast slabs because because uuse NFT is just part is just part of the the package of the vast slabs. I don't know if you know what is Avast slap you you feel me I don't know so yeah Mr Knight.
sethdannyyakYou can just go on because you don't have much time. We're going to end this space and the next 10 minutes or less, next 10 minutes or less. So you we are just working behind little time right now. So night you can just go on and be very time conscious. Thank you very much.
sethdannyyakUm, alright, thank you very much for having me. Um.
knightqudusMazzei has done like justification to the whole plans that you guys have for for us regarding African history no actually have a couple of questions but I'll just make you one since we are like short on time. So the concept is to immortalise African is trying to blockchain right. Are you going to be working with experts in the field of history particularly Afghan history so that like what would be getting would be very very accurate and representation of event because we all know like if you go
knightqudusYou just search for um.
knightqudusHistory of America, you'll be getting like various accounts. So are you working with an expert that will give you like a very, very accurate representation of events? Thank you.
knightqudusSorry. Before Mazzy would go on, let me just let me just help Mary on this one. Because yes, I am, I am, I am, I am an Horus and everything magazine because yeah, I love the whole thing.
sethdannyyakBecause I had to go and make my own research as well. So yes, rules and everything. I've been working with different news station, different news station to broadcast about who's and everything. If you can, you can go.
sethdannyyakOhh, I wish I can tag all of this link. Okay Mr Massey. Just go on. Just go on. Just go on.
sethdannyyakYeah. Thank you so much for that question. So about expat rights, it's wanted to know that before we even started this project, we knew that the subject matter is sensitive. Then we have to do months of research. I personally took courses on African history and black history, and I come from the backgrounds and educational backgrounds of political science. So, I mean, this is something that I'm familiar with already. And aside that, on that community, there's a rule we created because we know th
mazi_obiaguThis subject matter should not be treated with it should not be done lightly, right? There's a rule called the scholar Room, and then we are inviting people who have getting real interest in African history who can really tell the story very well to come.
mazi_obiaguAnd people of all these rules to help us get disseminate African history the best way possible, our goal is to actually have representation in every African countries. Currently we are in Ghana, we have volunteers in Ghana, I have a Co founder in Kenya and we have some friends in Cameroon and also majorly majority of us are actually in Nigeria. And so because we want to tell everyone's stories equally, we've said our goal is to actually have.
mazi_obiaguRepresentation in every African country. We don't want to overwhelm ourselves with that duty now and then. We told ourselves we need to grow. I mean, it's all been good for us. We've been taking baby steps to get to where we are now, and I will believe that if we continue in this way, we eventually will get their way.
mazi_obiaguBe present in every African country to get to actually represent each culture and equally, yeah, so we are open to work with other, I mean we had some news media identifiers in the past and Central TV Africa, I mean they actually promotes Africa's and we are looking to work with them in telling our own story on the media. And then we've done a bit of publications with some news medias, the likes of Techcabal business, the take economy.
mazi_obiaguTake money out and would of you. And in the future we'll be doing more releases. We have our medium where we post most of our blogs. We could just visit our website and read more on it gets African history and also because we are also driving NT adoption and with three adoption in Africa, it's not just black history now we are trying to create a synergy between the take itself and the story and that's what makes us get very, very disruptive and innovative. So thank you so much.
mazi_obiaguTonight. OK. Thank you very much Mr Mauzy, for that wonderful answer to that question because yeah, I can relate to that answer and the question as well. So yeah, Mr Knight, I don't know if you're if you're.
sethdannyyakJohn has been answered.
sethdannyyakNight.
sethdannyyakOkay.
sethdannyyakYeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. My question has been answered that like my, my confidence is at 300%. Like I just wanted to like get the idea.
knightqudusAlright, yeah, that's cool. That's cool. That, that's a very wonderful question you got right there. So I'm going to bring you up, Austin, I'm going to bring you up.
sethdannyyakAustin, you can now speak right Austin Preneur. Wow, that's that's a cool name you got right here.
sethdannyyakSo Austin, yeah, you can just quickly hit us with your question and then we move.
sethdannyyakAnd yes, before you go Austin, sorry, sorry, sorry. So guys, um, you can just simply click on this link. I just tagged on the space. You can just click on that link and join the who's discord because there are massive activities that is going on on aurus. There are giveaways going on, on Thurs right now and there are educational contents like I said yesterday, if you were on my space, I talked about capital, I talked about capital preservation and then I talked about.
sethdannyyakYou giving your time to education is also capital.
sethdannyyakIt's also having capital in this piece, it's not all about finances. Yes, the education you have about this space, the education you have about was, so everything you're going for is enough capital for you so that you can scale it. So yes, you can click on that discord link, join the uhuru's discord, join the discord, and then inculcate yourself with enough convictions about the African society and the community as well. And then you're going to get a whole lot of giveaways.
sethdannyyakGoing on, I mean a whole lot of incentives on who's nft, discord and yes you can cheque the the timeline of who's NFT. There's a whole lot of yeah, we are currently on 100K giveaway. I think this is mostly for Nigerians. I'm going to just target. So yes, you can go on Austin, you can go on and ask your question. Thank you.
sethdannyyakOK. So good evening everybody. My name is Austin. So I'll be asking a question and then my question is like this since the NFT is about the history.
austinprenuerThing is the history of Africa with the history of Nigeria, like how to trace your route, your roots.
austinprenuerOhh you, you. I would ever see your family trees back to the original, right?
austinprenuerHi, Austin. Thank you so much for that question. So who nfts is Afrocentric, NFT and beyond just the slavery. Slavery story just happens to be a flagship in it. Yeah, if you notice, it's called a Freeman collection N FC. A Freeman collection subsequently will have other collections that will celebrate Heroes of Africa. I mean we had the likes of Mansa Musa, we have the likes of Queen Amina and we have the likes of Queen Idia, our boards on this court.
mazi_obiaguThe collection is just a flagship energy collection. We also have the free human collection because we need to tell the story that yes, the way it happened, we are just telling story here. We are not actually protesting, we're not fighting anybody or just telling stories. We also have female slaves and then we have to represent that in existing collection. Because I mean if you, if you do the research you shed tears because it's so very emotional of history and then we'll have a free projecting
mazi_obiaguBefore imperialism and colonialism. So Africa is beautiful and then we might even go ahead to do collections on black excellence. Talk about people who have done great people in the African continent. So it's not just the slavery for us, it just happens to be our flagship collection going forward will also be promoting other artists in Africa. I mean, if you're an artist and you are using a platform to promote your work, ruin ft by then will be a big platform where you could promote your work an
mazi_obiaguYeah.
mazi_obiaguOkay, so now you guys now telling me that if I am holding an NFT that you guys are actually working on, you're telling me that when I purchased it and at least enough to help me to locate all the track back my history down to down, I think down to to 400 years ago?
austinprenuerOhh.
austinprenuerOK.
mazi_obiaguIt has. It has. It has a specific limit that I can actually track.
austinprenuerTrack my my, my genotype? How? How would I see my family treat?
austinprenuerOhh, OK. Sorry. Let me just and I mean I guess maybe I didn't really expatiate on that point. So the DNA treasa is a technology to help you retrace your route to Africa. You already know your roots. You're Nigerian, right? I don't know where, which part of Nigeria you have put this utility is pretty much for people get to Africa, the same outside Africa. I mean one of the craziest thing about the translate field was that, I mean it's actually cut off people of Africa from their homelands. They c
mazi_obiaguOhh really.
austinprenuerKnees, right. And then these people are trying to get their technologies out there now helping them come back to you get at least even have roots back. We get we trace their roots back to Africa. And so we identify this as a utility for them because we don't want to make it all about Africans in Africa. We also want to create a synergy where these people also feel the importance to the project and also to the Community. And then everybody comes together to lift Africa as that creates continue en
mazi_obiaguCan't. Thank you.
sethdannyyakI mean, African ancestry has a pool of over 30,000 DNS across Africa. So many people retrace their route to Nigeria. I mean, I don't know if you, if you, if you know this guy, what's his name again, this British rapper? Why am I forgetting his name anyways, it's a bit.
mazi_obiaguIs that Dave?
sethdannyyakDon't.
sethdannyyakNo, no, not the, not the. This other guy always wear green. I don't know why I'm skipping his name. He's always wearing green.
mazi_obiaguIt always will.
sethdannyyakNo, not stormsy. It's always raining green.
mazi_obiaguSo hello. Hello guys.
austinprenuerYeah.
mazi_obiaguI, I, I get what you guys are saying, but now I want to ask this again. So.
austinprenuerThis is.
austinprenuerKiss you.
austinprenuerYou what you were actually building it actually making sense and what time I believe it will be, it will be a big help. Okay. So I want to be sure. I want to be sure because.
austinprenuerEven up till now, say As for me, I don't think I actually know I actually know my my family. Please even even trace it back to, to, to, to even 50 years ago, said.
austinprenuerOK.
mazi_obiaguYes.
mazi_obiaguI hate you. So now I'm trying to understand that with with this your NFT help me to locate my family tree to to let's see.
austinprenuerTo my to place, let's say like 50 years ago.
austinprenuerOr because who knows, who knows? Who knows if.
austinprenuerMy I might be or like my great grandfather might come from, from, from industry, from Ghana.
austinprenuerAnd.
mazi_obiaguI mean I it's like you don't like Nigeria at all, I can see. But anyways what this technology will do is not to retrace, it's just to just okay, the way it works is that they take your swab, right, like a saliva and then they put it on their system that has over 30,000 pool of genius and then try to tell where you are from in Africa. So it's not like taking. So I mean if you want to do it because you believe you're not a Nigerian.
mazi_obiaguGood for you. I mean, but pretty much people who will be doing this are people of Afghanistan who are like outsiders outside the African continent. But I mean, if you if it's something you want to do, yeah, it's, it's very, very possible.
mazi_obiaguOhh well, it's alright. Thank you. Thank you for clearing my.
austinprenuerMy questions I really appreciate and and and I I pray to also be a success because the the the technology behind this is is amazing.
austinprenuerAll right.
sethdannyyakSo thank you for the time. Thank you everybody for giving me the chance to actually clear myself. OK, thank you.
austinprenuerOkay, thank you very much, Austin. Thank you very much mazi. I mean you guys have been hitting a whole lot of nice questions. So Cosmos you came up and this is the last question we are accepting. Then before the last question comes, you can go and participate for the 300,000 naira give.
sethdannyyakYes, then Cosmos, you can ask your question right away.
sethdannyyakOK. Good evening, all. Like is not a question, but it's a compliment, yeah.
cosmas91Hey, I love projects with good utility. Like yeah, if you see the question that is coming up, you will see that we need to learn and understand the value of blockchain to our life. Because learning is a very great innovation that one can give to him or herself because like take example like everything's been documented like this question that come up for example, you can cheque your genotype, your DNA to the blockchain and have results.
cosmas91According to any locality you are just go to the blockchain and cheque where you are from cheque the the, the family tree then everything you will get in. So I'm so passionate and I'm very much excited about the project and great innovation and utility that is coming up like is a collective something that we all we all should come together and support because it will help we Nigerians and Africa as a whole because.
cosmas91The root is the major foundation. Yeah. Some of these people that you have seen outside the country, some of them don't know where they are from. Some of them don't know their family trees, some of them 30 years ago, 40 years ago. So is a great innovation. I'm so glad. I'm happy to be in this space. Yeah. So I'm so happy. Thank you. The team members, you people are really working hard. I pray that this great innovation will bring opportunities for youths and entire generation.
cosmas91Think I'm God bless.
cosmas91Thank you so much.
mazi_obiaguI said.
mazi_obiaguSo I mean I don't know if set is rigging but thank you so much for that and contribution and encouragement to it's not been easy but will continue to push and then we are also calling we can't do it on our own and the founder and the Dave and I'm telling you I can't do it on my own. We need a community. Community is big for us and that's why we gonna discord. I'm always there engaging with every other members. I mean their love activities you can come and join. We have the native of the week who
mazi_obiaguI mean based off you get your activity level, I mean we're trying to create an ecosystem here guys and we want you all to be part of the next big thing, part of the next thing that will come out of Africa. And then featuring the world where we want to be in in the next future is somewhere where where the like of MetLife Meta is coming to Africa, they are looking for Uhuru to collaborate with. That's our vision. So thank you so much for that contribution. I really appreciate it. Over to you.

darkskinalienThought you might be there. Anything you want to say? Any closing remarks before we call it a night?
darkskinalienYeah, thank you so much DC thank you so much guys for taking out time to be at this piece. We do not take this for granted who NT is Afro centric and community centric. I will want to build something that will go down in history as one of the biggest black movements is more of a movement for us and we are yet to tell stories. No fights, no protests, no agitations. We are just telling stories just as human kicking.
mazi_obiaguFull story with two Kruger movie on Netflix who is doing the same thing with any ft and that shows the innovation and and and the idea that we are calling everybody during the discord going out on our website do your own research soon and then see these people really building something from the long haul or are they yet to just again make that quick broke and trust me I'm yet to leave a legacy for myself for my name for My Portfolio for my family and so I'm not going to bend that with any.
mazi_obiaguHe would. I see a quick cash incentive right. Yeah. So we've got a lot of interest from bodies like me. Pad in part stands for most influential people of African descent in America for looking at collaborations. There are a lot of hype that be coming on this project from from America, from Europe. And we are early on guys that's just if we are so early on hope on drain follow the train. Let's take this thing to the next level and I'm change all of our lives.
