We could always do the graphics like as if you're going to do an album make them that big and the same graphics can be shrunk down and still look good for for a CD. So we don't need to make we don't need to make that decision you just make it as if you're making an album cover and.

And the C's got a little bit extra where it's got that edge piece right where you can read it from the side, but the basic most of the graphics can be done album size and still be used for a CD.

But we want me, we want to make sure that scanned at 300 dots per inch, so we get the you know, it'll represent your artwork as best as possible. And you know.

So 200 dots per inch per inch for that is fine, but for a record cover or a poster you do 300 dots per inch. But doing more is just going to make the file size bigger and and that becomes a pain in the ass on its own because you need to save that to like a memory stick or a hard drive.

Um, and if you're going to e-mail it to somebody you know that starts creating problems, you might have to use like Dropbox or something to send the file. But but definitely 300 dots per inch.

So if I'm able to scan that tomorrow when I'm done with it at 300 dots per inch, I can just send you that file in an e-mail and.

So they're very kind of blurry and like smoothed over and.

But I like the way that this one came out.

Matthew I pinned to the top the little project I did with the fields. So I was trying to do this old comic book horror Volta Horror type of design. I was doing it for fun and then I thought of this to do this idea with the fields. So that's a little family of rabbits that have showed up at the fields door on trick or treating on Halloween. And originally I was just going to make it 1 single one of one and then people asked me to make it additions instead.

But I wanted to take it another step and I made ten of them, but each one has slightly different 2D graphics.

And then a couple of days later I still thinking about it and I added some limited like type of animation to each one of them. There's lots of neat little details on. Some of them have coffee cup stains on them. They all have the corner ripped. So I put my actual signature on there. The Doctor Woo is embossed in the axe handle that's in the pumpkins head and.

Yeah. Uh, yeah. Hey, thanks for having me guys, too. Like I really appreciate it. Came kind of Jonah hit me up out of nowhere and really the humbled that you guys were going to have me up in the talk about my art. I appreciate you guys.

For you guys that don't know me, my name is Curtis Cardwell. I've been a visual effects artist for the last 15 years and I've been in crypto since the beginning and just recently though have got into the world of art. 101 art NFT's in June.

And it's been a blast. I I have a few things on Earth, but I'm mainly been posting art on Tez. I love Tez. I try and on board people into it as much as I can. I I think the real heads are there and we kind of talk about it like the vibes, kind of like the Viper room in the 90s right now. So there's a lot of dope artists on there, a lot of people making really cool stuff. And we might not, I guess, demand.

The same high price points as big etherium artists. But I think as artists make an art, we have a lot of fun in the space and it's a really cool blockchain to to create different kinds of art, to get it out to as many people as possible, to help collect, to help support each other.

Yeah, and so the first collection I dropped, I don't know if I have a link to it, sold out now. It was the pop is dead collection and it was these Marvel style.

Basically the idea behind it was is that in in web two we were kind of told what icons that we were supposed to worship and think that are cool. But in Web three, we raise up our own icons by community and we get to choose that what we think is dope. And so I took these giant corporate icons that everybody knows and deconstructed them, melted them down, zombified them, and there was Mickey Mouse and Iron Man and Batman and.

That collection was fun to sell. I did a daily auction with it and I sold over 170 of them and met a lot of cool people along the way. So if you want to check that one out, the secondary, I think there's still think there's one for like 5 tests and then it quickly gets up to like 7 to 20. Tens is the floor and the rest of them, which is always trying to pump the secondary on it too because you know, there's still some really cool ones.

Like you know, I know people with 2003 thousand pieces in their portfolio that they've collected on Tezos. So it's it is a really fun vibe and it won't break your pocket.

Is that cop contest still going where you have to do like a low priced addition of like 31 or something like that?

So there's always different events going on in the space, and that's also pretty fun. Like there's at least one a month so far. I try to get into on as many as I can that I think are cool. The latest one I hop well, not really a contest, but everyone was kind of making APA due art, which is the we're really cool too. They're all the art is 8 by 8 pixels and it's hosted on this Japanese site.

And it's really cool to try and work in a constrictive environment artistically, because when it's only 8 pixels by 8 pixels, you kind of, you know, you really got to think about like, OK, what am I going to do with color? What am I going to try and represent with this just really finite canvas that I'm working with. And you can kind of check out some of the apedoe stuff I popped up there. Let me see if I can find the link to it.

Which I like. I like them. I didn't put a price on them or anything. So again, like if anybody sees something that they like, just pop me an offer for whatever. And you know, I'm happy. I'm happy to put stuff in people's wallets.

And like I certain plot diverse and then do some basic animation there and then and then render that out of that on the iPad and then drop it over as an AirDrop over to the computer and then drop that into into into into after effects and play with it in there.

Yeah, yeah. I use a lot of after effects as well. I've been, you know, honestly, I I know a lot of different software and I just became obsessed with AI. As soon as I saw the tool, I was like, Oh my God, this is this is the new thing, you know?

I I feel like, I feel like the whole animated thing with with AI though is like it's gonna get old really fast. Like honestly, I did a whole collection of 100 and animated pieces for like a whole year and a half and I was like, I'm just like I'm over animating for a minute.

Yeah, it's it's either gonna get old or it's gonna get really better.

Just as I was saying, I've been so incredibly inspired by the AI that it's kind of pushed me away from it. We're now, I'm like, I have all these ideas and all these different ways I'd like to try and start expressing myself that I'm going to dive back into other software now and trying to create some different styles of art and some other genres and hopefully find my, I guess you're going to call it your true artistic voice, right? Which is what we're all trying to find.
