OUR PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Our primary objective is to help the general public discover crypto Twitter Spaces in the same way they discover websites using the Google search engine. Like Google, we rank the results using our in-house algorithm.
We have put a lot of thought and consideration into this algorithm and have decided to patent the algorithm as the Social Media Influencer Ranking Using Time-Spent Metrics.
How We Rank Hosts
The following metrics are considered in measuring the rank of a Twitter Space host:
- How many participants join per minute
- Total participants that joined the space before it closes
- How many speakers participated
- How long were their speeches
So here are some examples:
- A host that speaks most of the time and does not allow others to speak will have a lower rank than the one that allows the opposite.
- A host that attracts fewer participants will also rank lower than the one that does
How We Rank Speakers
The following metrics are considered in measuring the rank of a Twitter Space speaker:
- Did they speak in someone else hosted space vs. their own space
- How long was the speech
- How often do they speak in spaces
So here are some examples:
- A speaker that only speaks in their own space (as a host) will rank lower than a speaker that goes to someone else's space and speaks.
- Which other hosts and speakers are associated with the speaker -- in the beta release, we have toned this metric down as the system needs to have more data to make this practical.
